The Whole HoloLive Squad Takes On The No Movement Challenge in HoloCure

This is part of the recording session that the part 1 shown in "last time" also came from. Huge spoiler so careful if you want to continue. As figured at the end of this recording - and someone actually did it and wrote a comment about it - you can win if Fubuzilla comes from the right and you can put your entire load into him with Amelia. Hehe. I may re-visit this particular challenge in the future, but given how much luck it requires that can't be influenced I am usually not the biggest fan of that, given how much other luck is also needed for upgrades etc.

*Some more pointers, ideas and spoilers:* _[still shoving these below the Show More if you don't want spoilers]_ *Bubba Lvl3 P-tapping:* When Bubba gets close, you can tap P button to draw him in next to you. You can't HOLD down P, since interesting enough, Amelia is the only character that I know of, who can completely 'cease fire' while petting Bubba. However, if you tap-P, while you do lose Attack Frames (slower attacks), you gain a "Stun Shield" of sorts, as Bubba stuns bosses (except Fubuzilla), including Giant Smol Ame, so you can Stun Lock bosses on top of you, as they do not harm you during stuns, as well guarantee getting the boxes. _―Interesting side note._ The Zoom-In that occurs as you pet Bubba, is that it affects pattern-spawned enemies. The first wall of Riot Shield "Deadbeats" (skeletons) that spawn in vertical rows, they will actually continue through you, if you are zoomed in, when they spawn. A moment where you can use this to your benefit, is the Shrimp Circle that spawns at 7 minutes. You can manipulate these to spawn closely around you, which means you'll get a lot of exp out of them, if Bubba (barks) and Axes are able to make quick work of them, before they despawn. *Study-Glasses:* Not worth it for _Stage Mode._ I did a normal run without glasses, defeated Giant Smol Ame at level 54-ish. Then did a Run where I got Lvl5 Study Glasses before anything else. (thus, maximum Exp gain possible) and ended the run at Lvl62... here's my logic as to why they are worthless (unless of course, you get them "for free" in Triple-Boxes). You spend 5 levels getting the Glasses to max level. You need 5 new levels to make up for the ones you spent on getting the glasses, so while yes, I do end a Stage Mode game at a higher level, the fact that I get level 62 with and 54-ish without, that still a technical *loss* of 2 level and potential weapon-upgrades. *Fubuzilla:* The angle that she came in from at the end, was the most optimal scenario that could possibly happen, but you need at least Lvl4 Pistol, combined with your Special Ability. I have only had ONE lucky instance, where high level axe, book, spider and lava, plus lucky Plushie invulnerability, was enough to take Fubuzilla down, but that was unreliable luck. *Your run stops at 19 minutes... unless:* Twice, have I made it to 19 minutes, with Lvl7 Spider, Axe, Book, Lava, and I think Lvl5 Stick and Board, along with Max Plushie, Horns, Milk... but the large Kronie-lads just march in, never enough damage (unless you want to try with Gorilla Glove + Face Mask combo... I haven't) and they just murder you within the first 20 seconds or so, regardless. I tried a "fake" No Move Ame run, where I allowed myself to get the Golden Anvil, where I combined Spider + Lava... THIS is enough to damage the Kronies and survive the 1 minute, after which I could easily P-Tap stun-lock Giant Smol Ame with Bubba and smash her with the Special Ability while stunned. *―Edit:* Nope, I just did a test run. Lvl7 Lava, Spider, Axe, Book + Lvl3 Milk, Gorilla, Mask does _NOT_ produce enough damage to overcome the 19-minute wave. Additionally, I had Horns, Plushie, Pillow (doubt Headphones instead, would make a difference). You would literally be hoping for a run, where golden anvil drops in your lap, for Spider + Lava collab. (as I mentioned, I tried a No-Move-BUT-Move-to-First-Golden-Anvil run and beat Giant Smol Ame) or else, that's a no-go. 🙅‍♂ *―Edit-EDIT:* ...you know how Amelia can "cease fire" while petting Bubba? ...I just had an epiphany... what if, you get Lava and Spider to level 7, during a phase where many weak enemies spawn, e.g. the bRats, while you make sure Bubba is close, so you can immediately hold down P and allow a huge group of them to get to you, where after you release P and pretty much insta-kill them for a high chance of getting a Golden Anvil delivered to your feet..? Oh man, I would LOVE to give that a go, but the likeliness of all those pieces falling into place is so...SO random that I simply wouldn't have the time to give that the amount of tries, it'll probably require... but that's the MOST likely scenario of anyone getting past 19-minute mark, where it seems at least 1 Collab weapon, preferably Lava+Spider is required. Best of luck to anyone who may try this theory! _(previous theory)_ If you want a TRUE No Move Ame run that can actually succeed, you will probably need STUPID LUCK, getting both Spider and Lava to lvl7 just as you hit the 9-minute mark and HOPE that the groups of KFP's will run in, die on top of you AND drop a Golden Anvil, AND have a Lvl4 Pistol ALONG with a front-attacking Fubuzilla, or else you probably will never get past the 19-minute enemy spam. *Final Edit:* ...Oh, it's possible to do with Amelia, alright... Had Lava Lvl7 and Spider Lvl6 right about the 7-minute mark, when the giant shrimp circle appears, along with Lvl3 Plushie and Lvl2 Horns. Right as I hit Spider Cooking Lvl7 I hold down P, when Bubba is close and wait until ALL enemies converge on me, tanking the few hits with Plushing and the Golding Anvil is basically dropped on my feet (I know this is an unlikely scenario, but it IS possible. Once you get Elite Cooking, all you need to do, is let Fubuzilla walk into the miasma, before hitting your Special Ability and it makes quick work of her, even if she sneaks in from the back. Getting Elite Cooking is key. Giant Smol Ame was defeated with P-tapping (Bubba Stuns), Elite Cooking, Lvl7 Axe, Lvl6 BL Book, Lvl3 Cutting Board. Lvl3 Milk, Plushie, Horns, and Lvl5 Pillow. as well saving the Special Ability for her. Best of Luck! (because... it is entirely Luck-Based. 😑)

After watching you do this challenge in Vampire Survivor, I kept wondering if this was even possible on this game. I'm glad to see you taking the challenge once again!

So you don't aim anything? Is that what you're doing? Many of your Kronii fails may be accounted to you not using your right stick or your mouse. The challenge is 'don't move', not don't do anything. I did this with Fauna. Took a few tries but it worked out. You are right in that pick up range has a huge influence on whether you make it or not.

Friend actually fires the spider cooking. Is hard to see because weapons that are centered at the character appears there. It's easier to see with books, because when friend fires, a new set of books will appear.

Oh shit this is going to be good! I can't wait!

You can aim your moves without moving the character btw, just left click to change the aim mode, same goes for spellbook demonslayers

You know, 0.4's Limiter item probably makes this a bit more viable. You can at least collect a meaningful fraction of the XP on screen. Sana's tweaked special attack probably helps, too. Oh, and Fauna auto-collects saplings now. Ooh, and I bet Sora would be pretty good at this challenge.

Love the content, Dex! New update is coming soon, super excited to see you play. For now, I've been grinding for gacha coins to get the new gals when they come! Also, I've been informed that EXP doesn't actually stack on the ground. It instead gets replaced when the EXP drop doesn't have anywhere free to go in a given radius around where the enemy dies. Kinda upsetting, but yeah. Also, Hololive boxes are bugged. If you skip the animation, you get less coins.

Did you try Ina? Her ability to convert mobs into friendly takodachis might be good for this since they give XP when they touch you.

Got to 14:58 with no move Fauna. You got to focus on multiple weapons more since 1 level of a new weapon is stronger than a slight buff to one existing weapon. It also makes any dmg buff more effective since it buffs multiple weapons.

Late August-Early September the new update will drop, so you can always return to this challenge with new characters/items and on the new map :)

After watching this video, I decided to try my own little twist on the challenge: You CAN move, but only within the triangle formed by the Yagoo statue and the two pillars. That way, characters like Bae can aim their attack at enemies. I've only tried her and Sana so far, but I can't seem to get past the first wave of Viking-helmet Takos.

if you do this again, axe at lvl 6 or 7 is enough to kill them all at 8:40 also bomb at max can do alone

That last run is actually really good i think, you only need more level in the pistol and use the ulti earlier so the boss get the full duration of it.

I know you can't, but if you were able to aim your attacks without moving, would that be allowed in the challenge? That would probably be a huge game-changer even though some characters still can't cover directly on them without getting another weapon.

This really does seem like a tough problem to crack. My first guess was Mumei, because of Friend, Max Feather, and her insane damage, but I guess that isn't enough. Maybe you should build her full damage? So go for Max feather asap to get some breathing room, then go straight for glass cannon build items, like Injection, Face Mask and Sake. Milk might also help if it works with Friend.

Might be possible or atleast easier with a controller since on controller your aim and movement are separate so you can change your aim without moving

who had pickup range twice at end run but never did pick it up? all other runs u said u need pickup range so bad.

You can prepare for the Couch Potato achievement in HoloCure.

I saw a guy on reddit who beat smol ame in 6 seconds with Amelia. Also you could try to do the immortal strat where you use the plushie and headphones and horns and whatever.
