1:08 Chad CHOSE the DP for himself by his actions. Please do not feel heaviness for bringing justice to innocent victims. The penalty for his actions is HIS burden, HIS heaviness, HIS despair. Do not carry that load for him. Not even for fleeting moment.

2:51 Another reason to not carry Chads burden….. he chose who died, how they died and kept them as trophies on his land- and not a tear to be shed or any reaction at all to their deaths.

*Well the jury can rest at ease, although they did give Chad the DP...the likelihood of him ever getting it is slim to none.* With all the motions, appeals and reversing of sentences so many DP candidates get...NOT to mention the amount of time to actually get to the DP stage, what is like 30 years, he'll be probably die before then.

Took the words out my mouth I just finished stating this to my wife, ultimately yes you voted and understandably it wasnt easy by any means, but the bottom line is Chad chose the outcome himself and to furthermore jot wanting to give any mitigating factors in an attempt to save his own life in my humble opinion is a reflection of his distorted beliefs, just as his new bride stated when she made her delusional statement at the end of her trial, that Jesus knows her and he knows that no one was murdered. These 2 peas in a pod twits truly believe nothing they do in this life can impact their standing in judgment. They really believe they get a free pass and have already earned their heavenly wings that committing heinous crimes against the laws of man isn't the same as God's law. How they have no fear that they have been led down a dark path, the arrogance they both displayed, Lori stating Tammy visited her and they were friends and she loved her is just insane at its core. I always found it interesting that Chad's kids were all rated as light per his ridiculous soul scale/chart. I really believed Chad would've taken the opportunity to speak and announce to the world he was the brother of Jesus and all the other ridiculous nonsense he made up. I always believed he got the idea to tell Zulema that she could control the weather after he saw an X-Men movie or read the comics since he was such an avid reader. End of day as compassionate humans with empathy for others I can understand why it would still be extremely difficult to vote and make the decision for death but I truly believe that's what makes us different than these 2 narcissistic real zombies, who I gave thr nicknames PimpProphet & WitchGoddess.

@MaddieMisanthrope
@MaddieMisanthrope 3 месяца назад
@@DiamondLil88 I wasn't telling you or anyone else how they should or would feel. I was giving my opinion, point blank period. You have your experience with a DP trial, I don't - but I do know myself very well, and I've been through more traumatic things then being a juror on a DP trial. Do certain things "stick with you"? Of course they do, we are humans, but not everyone dwells on it, or even really thinks about it much after the fact. If you're mentally well or even unwell (the lawyers don't care), maybe start seeing a therapist regularly (or at all for that matter), to help you with traumatic experiences you've had throughout your whole entire life. There's no need to suffer/"pull yourself up by the bootstraps" in this day and age when therapy is readily available! (I understand that not everyone has the money to shell out to get a fancy therapist, but there are always places/programs/organizations etc, to help people who need it but can't afford it.) So yes, your "trial trauma" and anyone else's could be alleviated by talk therapy.

I am sure that Chad regrets nothing, has no remorse, is completely without pity for his horrific crimes. He was sitting there thinking that he would find a following "preaching" in prison, and he can hardly wait to get there to feel important again. I hope he is not allowed to do this. He's a danger to gullible people with nothing left to lose, such as death row prisoners. He lives to be seen as a martyr who "rises above" his unjust circumstances. What a phony!

I honestly don't believe that the jury sentences someone to death. They merely determine if there are aggravating factors in the evidence. This is a crucial difference. If CD had done none of this, there would be no evidence or aggravating factors. It is simply the jury's job to look at the evidence and evaluate it based on the law - the defendant convicts himself by his actions...

I love this group of jurors! I want to tell them NOT to feel a burden of responsibility for Chad's fate. The burden for that lies with a combination of Chad's choices + the established legal process in Idaho for criminal justice. The outcome was meant to be--like a path of dominoes set up to fall one by one with a predetermined ending point. The jury carried out its duty that was laid upon them and that they did not choose--sacrificing their time, emotions, and mental energies in the process. You did your job, jury members. DO NOT feel any weight of responsibility for the outcome. At each stage of jury deliberations, I prayed that the jury would be unanimous in making the right decision in accordance with what God (the God of the Bible) considered appropriate and right in accordance with His will. I know God answered that prayer.
