I’m wondering how why’re presenting this to the men as opposed to the women. Maybe they’re telling the guys “This is JUST an experiment” and at this location if a person knows it’s just a warehouse or whatever I wouldn’t get super dressed up either.

My first thought when she came in to meet him. She is dressed up, he should put some effort into his appearance also. In this type of setting both should look their best. it should have been a requirement.

courtney ford So true! At first I didn’t get that part when he said that. But when me and my bff talked about it she had the same reasoning as you & after that I totally agreed!

I don't think so. She seems to have some community in ATL. Maybe not much but she seems to be connected. Her community might grow if they were in a relationship but I don't think it would be depended on him. And even so, he doesn't have dips on "community" She could make her own connections with people while they are dating. If they were to break up who knows what those other connections could lead to especially pertaining to her growing in her walk with God. If anything he probably wants to be able to see her in her natural environment and see the people she hangs with. It helps to get an overview of a person's character without them faking it.

Regardless, if she is new to the city it wouldn't matter because of his level of attraction towards her. He just doesn't like her. And this lady seems very independent so I don't feel as though she would cling to him 24/7. She would eventually meet new people and create a friend circle apart from him naturally.

My friend just moved to a new city and was explaining how it can be just getting acclimated to new environments, routine, ppl etc. She did mention maybe he was implying wanting to see someone in their natural element like their routine outside of the relationship like you said, which I further understood her stance on his comment. I guess where I didn’t get it was I thought 9months was a good amount of time to be in a city and it wouldn’t be alarming to me. We also talked about how when ppl enter into a new city without knowing many ppl and they find a person that they connect with whether it’s romantic or just platonic friends if they depend solely on that 1 person it can be a lot on them. I guess all in all you just have to get out and meet people lol Taylor does seem to have community and I don’t see it being hard for her to make friends.
