2:25 Some movies have such a dark satire about them it makes you wonder how close to reality they really are. Satan hates the Blessed Virgin Mary. In fact, he has been doing everything in his power to discourage devotion to her and instill hatred for her for two millennia. According to many Catholic Mystics, Mary will let go of God's Judgment, much like the hand coming up at the end of this movie. In the Magnificat, we see the role of Mary in salvation summarized beautifully. My soul magnifies the Lord; my spirit has found joy in God, who is my Saviour, because he has looked graciously upon the lowliness of his handmaid. Behold, from this day forward all generations will count me blessed; because he who is mighty, he whose name is holy, has wrought for me his wonders. He has mercy upon those who fear him, from generation to generation; he has done valiantly with the strength of his arm, driving the proud astray in the conceit of their hearts; he has put down the mighty from their seat, and exalted the lowly; he has filled the hungry with good things, and sent the rich away empty-handed. He has protected his servant Israel, keeping his merciful design in remembrance, according to the promise which he made to our forefathers, Abraham and his posterity for evermore.
I swear there's a production company always writing Sigourney weaver these roles. Wayyy down the road we will find out the Parent company has always been Weyland Yutoni
@@superbananas7792 Oishii-san has a point, women who are beautiful and CAN get laid yet possess the discipline and moral character to eschew the opportunity for intercourse--of which there is no shortage, for even the fattest, ugliest females can "get some" if they so desire, such is the desperation and horniness of men--are valuable. Women who give in to promiscuity are worthless, because ANYONE can choose to follow the path of least resistance; it takes nothing to engage in desire and most females these days have done so at the cost of their own uxorial worth and capacity to pair-bond. You wouldn't get it though, because, like most, you weren't raised with standards and expectations; you were raised to worship tolerance and individuality as twin gods who granted you and everyone else the right to whatever the hell you wanted. You were raised weak, by weak parents, in a weak community, at a weak time, in a weak world. That's why the notions of "purity" and "discipline" are so laughable to you: you cannot fathom them. You have my pity, son, you and the sorry excuse for a father that chose your mother and brought you into this world without the slightest plan or preparation. You deserve better but, you just didn't get it. I'm sorry you're a common tragedy.
@Viktor' vonthe Rhaefnhyrst Imagine actually believing in "purity" and "virginity" as a weird ideological belief. Your entire paragraph just feels like a weird collection of projection of just issues with women along with a lack of interaction with the outside world. Good luck in life though, hopefully you get out of your echo chamber and take up a hobby sometime, hey maybe you'll meet some real human beings.
@@savagedragon79 that’s what I’m saying. How could this even work as a game? Each level is a different monster? What would the plot even be? A series would be too much.
Continuing it would be difficult if not impossible. Perhaps it can do an origin story. As for a gae, SCP is the closest to a game in this specific situation.
In this case it was quite literally "are you going to die a selfless hero or die a selfish D!cK along with everyone else?". HE chose selfish D!cK. To be fair I cannot be sure I wouldn't make the same choice.
@@nicholaskehler9169 the thing is that it just asks to lose. At the end of the day, they made him choose which is ironic. I appreciated the book ending. Ava mentions that they were never gonna fix it. All they could do was preserve the last of humanity through thomas and the others. Bittersweet considering the fate of the world but they could save what they could.
@@BlackDiamond2718 I think my comment was mostly about the fact that the comparison to maze runner they provided isn't really the same as the situation presented in this movie. Unfortunately I don't remember posting it a year ago so I cannot be sure what I was thinking when I did.
This place their in where they come face to face with the director and I can't help thinking that place is like a battlefield arena, strange how I see. Like in the video game look alike.
@@WildDragonSong Zeus is Lawful/Randy He believes in two things the strict adherence of HIS laws and getting his D!(K wet (preferably not with his wife)
@@dgs_susave1324 Creator of mankind, punishes evil humans and rewards good humans. Father of monster slaying warriors. He has his flaws but I don't think anyone in Greek mythology did more good than Zeus.
Probably the Titans or the Primordials. The Titans were the children of Gaia and Uranus. The gods were the children of Chronos and Rhea who were two of the titans. The gods were the most human like with the titans being collosal vaguely human giants 100 metres tall composed of elements relating to their domain. The Primordials were things like the Earth (Gaia), the Sky (Uranus), the Underworld (Tartarus), Love/Sex (Eros), Darkness (Erebus), Day (Hemera), and the Night (Nyx). The Titans are more likely because of the vaguely human shape of the hand that burst from the ground. Although it is not guaranteed because that hand is several times too big for a hundred metres tall being.
I love Sigourney Weaver. But, seeing her at that point of the film. Took me out of it. The films makers should have gone with an unknown actress. The film was great nonetheless.
Ganesha is a popular and widely revered Hindu god with the head of an elephant and the body of a human. He is the son of Shiva, the god of destruction, and Parvati, and the brother of Karthikeya, the god of war. Cabin in the Woods = Ganesha 0:15
This doesn’t make any sense. If I don’t love this movie, it’s about me? What similarities do people who don’t like the movie share with the movie’s plot?
