WATER Bad news: A new study has shown that the El Nino phenomena that brings drought to SA, will become more common as the climate rollercoaster worsens. If cities can't step up then households better learn how to harvest rain when it does come, and use it wisely through the long dry spells. For example, in a water stressed country why do we use quality drinking water to flush toilets? A simple solution hete is to have a pipe from the basin to the cistern to use grey water to flush toilets. SAs really need to become more water wise! In many parts of the world homeowners are converting their lawns to wild gardens plus veggie gardens to reduce water & fertilizer use and help support biodiversity & be more food secure. Of course it's the
