The first break of the summer is behind us, and the Pro Motocross Championship has reconvened for round four, the 2024 Southwick Motocross.
The sand pit behind American Legion Post 338 has been stop of the series for decades, and this weekend’s motos will be the 43rd visit for the 450 Class and the 38th for the 250 Class.
A massive storm rolled through southern Massachusetts last week, and as you’ll hear from track operator Keith Johnson later in the video, it did significant damage. The days since have been a rush, and with help from event title sponsor Crestview Construction, the crew was able to haul in loads of sand to replace what was washed away from the layout and have the property ready for a crowd that will come from all parts of the northeast.
