@@user-nu9im9zc8s Well, it all depends on the type of programs you enjoy, basically personal taste and this is definitely a slow burn show and I nearly gave up half way through the first episode but reading so many positive reviews gave me reason to push on and very soon it became engaging. I suggest giving it at least the first two episodes and see what you think then.

don't judge the entire show by the trailer alone, it's actually EXCELLENT. the actresses killed it, every single one of them was spectacular and should be up for emmy consideration. probably my favorite YA show i've seen thus far.

The show is a slow burn, you find out more information as you go, the secrets are released slowlyyyyyyyyy, but the wait is totally worth it. Just watching half of the first ep is not enough to judge the show. You get to see the different phases the girls go through, and how they handle it. I just finish the first season in a day, and trust and believe I am waiting on season two. WATCH THE SHOW PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After "The Society" it's nice to have something new to watch with the same vibe. I just saw the entire season of The Wilds I highly recommend it, the trailer doesn't do it justice. It's nothing like Lost I assure you, it's more drama/mystery and the acting is next level. Love to see new faces in the business *finally.*

Yeah Lost was definitely not drama/mystery. Wait what? It's a good series and somewhat addicting. When it comes to the pacing, permanent flashbacks, building tension with the sounddesign etc it's so early season lost that it almost feels like a tribute. Allthough the overall plot is massively implausible i enjoyed it because of the generally good writing and great characters. Also the mystery island/lord of the flies setting just works.

@@MarissaCooperButPoor what kind of argument is this? the setting and plot for the maincast is just the same. a diverse group of people stranded on a tropic island after a planecrash. the main characters dont even know the circumstances by the end of the first season. whether it's staged or not doesn't matter for the vast majority of the scenes. it's like saying robinson crusoe is nothing like cast away because one came with a boat and the other one with a plane.

I expected this to be so bad but it was so good. The actresses playing Shelby and fatin are really good. I cried during Shelby a episode- the writing was good and her specific struggle was compelling but the actresses performance elevated it.

Yeah this show was much better than I thought. The struggle was portrayed much more realistic than any other shows I've seen. It wasn't perfect but it was gritty and showed the little struggles they would actually have in their situation.

Very good show and deeper than you'd expect. Everything isn't as it seems. The 'girl power' angle isn't cringe or forced. Nice twists and good acting. Hope there's a season two.

Honestly, this show was pretty good, defiantly worth a watch (or binge) if you have nothing else to do. I really hope we get a second season, but this is one of those shows where the second season could go terribly wrong... I just hope they keep following the girls and not the others.

Clicked on this show the other day by mistake and was pleasantly surprised. On season two now and this show just more and more intriguing. Excellent cast and well written characters that people can relate to, can empathize with.
