I like going backwards in time. A genre of music has to be popular on its own merits before it can be commercialized. Before rap there was hip-hop, funk, R&B, soul, jazz, blues, etc. each with countless gems ready to be unearthed again.

I think you'll like it. I recently just moved and made this as a sort of farewell mix to my last apartment. To make it I went through every trip hop mix I made those years that I lived there and tried to make something that reflected everything that changed. It was a fun project and a good note to both end on and start a new. Enjoy my friend :)
