our bulls are in basketball purgatory. we need to let go of demar and zach as much as i love them they don’t fit our timeline and are only causing us to be a 11, 12, 13 pick every year. id rather be one of the worst teams in the league and be able to look forward to the draft than have the most exciting part of our season be if we can win a game or not in the play in tourney
Nah fr he doesn't understand that the wizards traded avdija bc he was too good and they wanna hunt for cooper flag next year, also they wanna build a timeline around sarrr carrington and flagg, avdija is 5 years older than them
@@emilfrederiksen.1622- Brogdan could get you another 1st honestly.. y’all just looking at it as the player. Plus they were able to get a extra pick at this draft that fits the timeline with Sarr better then deni, plus he’s a good player but not a cornerstone, he’d be a good starter
@@thesunofgod.doesn’t mean you should have traded him for Malcom Brogdon (who could probably get you 2 seconds), 2 seconds, bub carrington, and the 2nd best of 3 2029 picks. I’d rather put avdija at the 3 and run him and sarr together
How you gonna call someone a loser and winner of the draft and they have yet to play an NBA game... This is the same dude who said the Blazers were winners for drafting Scoot and the Hornets were one of the "BIGGEST LOSERS" in the draft for getting Miller 🤣🤦♂
yea its saying it at the moment lol, everyone kinda agreed at the time that the hornets made a mistake not taking scoot and everyone agrees now that the hornets actually did amazingly not taking scoot
@@lasrrrrr- everyone one my ass, I thought Miller was the 2nd best player in the draft and hornets made a great choice at the time. I even said Miller could have the best career in the draft if wemby ends up injury prone due to his size in the future.
@@elitetv1735 BREAKING: because "@elitetv1735" thought miller should be the number 2 pick at the time, everyone else did bro so many people agreed that charlotte fked up the draft, even the charlotte hornets fans didnt like them picking miller over scoot w hindsight, they absolutely made the right call but that doesnt change what ppl thought at the time
@@lasrrrrr and I saw mannyyy people think it was a great pick.. just because your friends and the few RU-vid videos you watched said it bad wasn’t everyone. I saw plenty of RU-vidrs say it was a good pick, saw many people talking online it was a good pick and some of my friend thought it was a great pick.. so obviously not everyone. I would say it was 50/50, I never believed in scoot as well, the shot worried me. And his size for a inside player was worrisome
@@elitetv1735 bro, stfu. if you think it was 50/50 you are insane because it was absolutely not 50/50, it was genuinely more 75/25 and a lot of ppl in the minority thought scoot was a better prospect and just the fit was better w miller
He shot under 35% from college three against college defenders. Relax. "Great" he is not. Maybe he will become that, but not currently. (college career 31% three point shooter).
@@jimmerrange I get how it can be viewed as a loss but besides the picks, the 2025 draft is absolutely stacked, especially the top 6. The Wizards getting rid of a good player like Deni makes perfect sense if their trying to get Flagg, Ace Bailey, Dylan Harper or Nolan Traore.
When you showed Cody Williams I was like "maaaan he looks really familiar, he looks almost just like Jalen Williams on OKC" then I looked it up and Cody is literally Jalen's younger brother 💀! They got some strong ass genes lmao, they damn near twins fr! Fire to see more brothers in the NBA.
already can tell he doesn’t know ball 3 minutes in.. there’s a reason for every trade, sarr wants to play the 4 and bilal is at the 3 both who’s younger with a way higher ceiling we don’t have room for deni anymore he would take our young guys much needed playing time and he’s already peaking so we’d rather sell high then hold onto him until he drops. not to mention he averaged 15 7 and 4 on a 15 win team. he’s not a 2nd or even 3rd option on a winning team
He was option #1 in wizards since they changed coach, 20.5-10.0-4.5 . You clearly never watched him play, he's a home grown player, get along with everyone, locker room glue, and on top of that he's one of the only players in the world who actually love being in DC.
@@modax0 it’s like it’s your job and life to go on youtube and type all bias bs about deni 😂 plenty of people wayyyyy before deni loved being in DC even Bilal and Sarr wanted and wants to be in DC 😂 get a life seriously.
@@modax0 this is the problem when you build connections with players, you develop clouded judgement that’s clearly bias. you can’t say i’ve never watched him play when i literally said he was peaking and we sold him high clearly meaning i acknowledge he was becoming a really good player but you’re disregarding the part where we are in a REBUILD. deni is at that point he’s becoming a win now player and could really benefit a contending team. he just doesn’t fit our timeline and we would waste his career.. it would be another version of bradley beal all over again. can’t have a rebuild without change
Deni is a great team player but he had all last season to take over, kuzma cooled off and poole was inefficient. Lastly if Bradly Beal could only get us 4 2nd round picks and Deni goes for basically 2 firsts 2 seconds and Malcom brogden you best believe I’m feeling great about the wizards.
Washington made a good move they got a good veteran PG a pick in this draft as well as some future assets and they open the floor to coulibaly by trading Deni
One addition to why the trade makes sense for the Spurs: by not drafting at #8 they also save themselves a really good amount of money (6+ mil) that can go towards a more prominent trade or free agent acquisition. Though I find it sad for Dillingham he can't play for SA despite him shouting from the rooftops he wanted to, I really don't mind the trade
How did Washington lose if they upgraded at G and PF or C? Brogdon gives them the flexibility to move Tyus Jones right now and then move on from Brogdon when his contract expires at the end of the season. Not to mention we got 2 1st and 2 2nds?
Wizards were one of the biggest winners of the draft getting 2 franchise corner stones and another guard that could workout but you acting like Deni was Luka or smth
Bam is starting to transition into play as PF. Miami needed size & athleticism. Kel'el Ware's ceiling is higher than Knecht. And Miami drafting Larrson at #43 didn't lose much from Knecht slipping to #17. They also still have Herro, so it doesn't make sense to draft Knecht.
Imagine not mentioning Matas at all at 11th who was for the good part a projected 1st before. Bulls had insane steal on 11th and he gets to play for the hometown as well which is great.
Its a great move by the spurs. They acquire more assets. Many says this draft is weak. Getting 1 unprotected pick and top 1 protected swap has great value. Are the spurs use that pick up select rookies? Or are they going to use that to trade stars? It offers flexibility and value. Also think for about the roster spot. Don't just talk based on what happen. Consider everything about the trade.
As a Spurs fan I am confused on sacrificing the #8 pick. It is not I am disappointed for not taking Dillingham, but rather I am bummed with acquiring 1st picks that is still deemed unknown. I wouldn't have been that disappointed if they traded for 1st picks in '26-'28 range, but '30 & '31 is waaaay too far to assess on. The only sensible reason I can think of doing this is they will use these picks as assets to acquire a co-star for next year.
Rob Dillingham is the biggest loser here. He was saying he wanted to be drafted by the Spurs to play with Wemby, actually got his wish and then got traded mere seconds later. 😭😭😭
Yeah instead of going to a 19 win team he will go to a 50 win team that was in the WCF also going to be mentored by an amazing vet pg. oh yeah they also have 2 all stars and a 4x dpoy
He and Ant will either get along swimmingly and be a formidable duo, or Dillingham won't pan out. He has not shown that he is an elite enough talent to be THE lead guard of an NBA team. ANT is substantially better. It was a weak draft class. Remember how hyped everyone was about Scoot? Scoot is much, much better than Dillingham. He's tiny, can't play defense, and struggled to finish against college bigs. Love his confidence, but he thinks he's Kyrie and he's not (I'm a Wolves fan in MN - I think he could add a nice offensive jolt, but he's not our savior for our offensive woes).
Good luck to Donovan Clingan going to the franchise that drafted Bill Walton, Sam Bowie, Branson Roy and Greg Oden. Be sure to get your own private physician, big man.
I don't get the love for the Blazers. Trading two firsts, Brogdon, and change for Avdija seems like a lot. When you factor in that Brogdon can probably get you a first in trade it looks like three firsts for a guy with a 0.6 VORP last year and negative VORP two of the three years prior (with a +0.1 the other year). Washington did well to get so much for someone so inconsequential to their rebuild. Getting Clingan at 7 was nice for sure, but don't like that trade with Washington at all.
I’m sorry, but the wizards are clearly winners not just with her dress, but with the acquisitions, you know of Malcolm Brogdon a good point guard who can play both ways and bring some maturity to that to that team, and got a bunch of pics for a guy they weren’t gonna pay. I think that’s a win-win trade and the wizards are clearly winners
We have two DPOYs and all we really needed was a true big…we got the sleeper of this whole draft and bro was the best college player twice while improving every year 😅…
2 first round pick and 2 second round picks is quite a haul for Deni...(The contract of Avdija is one of the best in the NBA though) They got more than twice what they got for Rui
@@user-jx6bu8fr7v Henderson is averaging 14, ayton is averaging 17, giddy is averaging 13/6/5, I think this was a break out seasons for them also I wonder why people hating on them
