The history of Indian Reform schools is so messed up. I’m also a fan of look behinds. Glad this story had both elements

Solid story that avoids the pitfalls of other Creepypastas that just rely on the jump scare aspect or a gimmicky character like photonegative Mickey. The wildman is there all along even if it's not obvious. I enjoyed the exploration of what's real and what's an illusion, which is the whole point of the being high aspect. The horrors of Indian reform schools is a nice touch. I found myself wanting to know more about his past though.

I loved the indigenous horror element and how the story comes full circle at the end with Tayen Morgan "finding his friends." I wasn't sure if he was a look behind or just a run-of-the mill spirit bear though. I wanted a bit more about the reform school though and the horrors that happened there.

@@rhio-ohki6107 Maybe one day. I’m pretty new to this genre. I have one called “The Glawackus” that reads more like a traditional creepypasta. This one is more thematic but so far has had more recognition. I can’t complain.

The bear/ old man were the same. By sounds of things when he was young he had to bury the missionaries had killed and he's been looking for them ever since, and at the end when they saw the bear with a bone in his mouth, he had finally found the graves where his friends were buried 😢. Thats how i took it

His friends died/were killed at the Indian Reform school and likely buried on the grounds. It happened quite often to Indigenous children. They were taken away from their parents and sent to 'Christian' reform schools to make them 'proper' citizens. But often they were abused and used as slave labor and disposed of as easily.

The death and loss from Indian reform schools doesn’t get enough attention. The fact that Catholic priests and nuns essentially eradicated a generation of Indians, forcefully taking them from their parents, cutting their hair, changing their names and forbidding them to speak their own languages. The unmarked mass graves and pits found around these schools today IS a real life horror!

It actually varies per product and person. It depends on the level of THC in the product and while there is a higher chance, it's not an inevitability.
