Here's a quick shot of The Winter Cumbrian Mountain Express of Saturday 23rd February 2019.
Taken at Holme, south of Oxenholme, this is apparently what SR 35018 looks like with failed injectors.
47826 for anyone interested.
I have spared you the going away shot to reduce the boredom factor by half.

Thanks for watching, Steve. Bit of a disappointment but as with all machinery, things can sometimes go wrong. It's a testament to the guys at WCR that it doesn't happen more often. Hope all is well with you. Time we met up for a beer and a natter sometime. Kind regards Frank.

Thanks Rach. There was indeed a little exhaust. Unfortunately, filling my lungs with diesel fumes didn't come anywhere near the aroma I was hoping for. Dad x
