The technique for the ski jump changed in the early 1990s. Now we are used to seeing the jumpers putting their skis in a V-shape (giving the jumper more lift) but in the mid 80s (when this game was released) the prevalent technique was to make sure the skis stayed parallel. I am Brazilian and I have to say that seeing my country in the country selection screen is too funny, cause we can not take part in a winter games competition - we don't have real cold wheater here. Snow is a thing extremely rare.

I rememeber being 7 or 8 years old and having the world record in the bobsled at 22 seconds. How time flies.

Man I wish I could play this again

This game was just awesome :) Competing with my older brother for the best results. I don't know anymore what all of our final scores were for the different sports. I do know that my brother had the most best scores, including: Figure Skating a "6" (maximum score) and Free Skating a "6" (maximum score). I believe I had the highest score with bobsledding (I believe somewhere near 21.52). Biathlon was just a hell of a job to complete very fast (you got sore hands quick from yanking the joystick to the left and right :) ).
