I took my family to see the 'This Country' village in the Cotswolds...we saw Kerry's house and then just as we were driving away, we noticed Mandy's house on the corner!
What i absolutely love about this series as a Christian is how Paul Chahidi's character, the vicar, is the center of the community and is so positively portrayed, yet so hilarious. This series is my all time favorite by a Longshot.

The funeral speech scene is genius. The bearded mourner adjusting the plate on the wall, the young guy yawning, the power punch machine, Kurtan's face. Then reading out a description of the guest ale. DULL DULL DULL. Brilliant.
I am an Indegionous person from the US and love this show. Disappointed in the American version. This Country the show is awesome and hilarious. Bummed not on Hulu anymore.

A few years ago we could get bbc IPlayer for 1.99 a month on roku..but they took it away.. I both torrent dl'd it and bought it on DVD. Absolutely my favorite series ever. British stuff is the best, we get screwed in the US..the US tried to remake this for Americans, it was a COMPLETE TRAVESTY, a literal national embarrassment, just like the US ghosts remake!!!
Question: how old are Kerry and Kurtan supposed to be? In most episodes it seems they are meant to be about 19-20 years old. But in series 3 we are told that they went on holiday to Newquay 'just after they left school' and the vicar says that was '12 years ago'. So even if they left school at 16, they would now be in their late twenties; if they left at 18 they would now be 30.
You base that ridiculous comment on a couple of clips you've seen on You Tube? Shame. If you weren't so small minded, you could have enjoyed a fantastically written and very funny comedy. Your ignorance is embarrassing.

I was disappointed with that last season tbh . I thought they would do more seen as it was the final season. Six 30 min episodes that you have to wait a week to see each one isn't enough. I hope the American version is better . The American office was better than the English they did more and had better characters . And done like 10 seasons. Got to give this a 👎
