The thing that bothered me in ng when I sided with Jerren is how he never went inside the library to accompany the emotionally distraught Rennala. He just stays outside in the rain like a faithful puppy. My friends told me this is just so the player can kill him but that seems too cruel to do after all the player and Jerren went through. The fact he just stays outside the entire game after Sellen's defeat depresses me.

Jerren's underrated as hell imo, one of my favorite side characters. Hope he shows up again in the DLC

I notice you missed the point that until Radahn was slain the sorcerers fates were static. They couldn't progress their futures that cuts both ways. Until the stars are back in motion Sellen was indestructible in a way, stuck in an instance of being indefinitely. THIS is why Jerren could not harm her.

This whole thread with Jerren and Iji and Sellen zipped past me when I played because I ran into each of their statements about each other so far apart that it was difficult to piece together. This helped encapsulate things pretty well, and it makes more sense now.

I wish we could find him in a new location after being outside of the library post-battle. Maybe for the dlc…

It make’s me wonder if jerren still has command over what’s left of general Radahn’s army, if so he should try to get what remains of the army and rebuild the territory they once had control over or if not make sure the area is safe for themselves and anyone that lives in caelid.🤔🐱

I know this is kind of random but how come all the empyrean’s in Elden ring are women? Rykard and Radahn were rejected, but Rennie was allowed to. It’s kind a messed up. Seems a little too messed up iykyk
