I got sort of addicted to Caravan in Fallout: New Vegas, then didn’t like Gwent at first because the max bet limit is only 20 gold. In NV, there’s no betting limit.
When someone shows their crazy elevated score in gwent i connect with them on the same level as if they shared a photo of a cool stick they found in the woods.
We get it, you dont appreciate Gwent. Thats just your opinion though. You dont have to like it to atleast appreciate the good technicality of the minigame itself, or the way that it develops through the Main game itself. That people still post videos on it, ~8+ years AFTER TW3 was originally released, proves that the minigame and TW3, are still incredibly popular. ....which kind of renders your opinion, completely useless.
@thegreenreaper6660 @thegreenreaper6660 What the fuck are you on about xD Geez people on the Internet can be insane Nowhere did i state that i don't appreciate it The opposite in fact - that i have a childish compulsion to slam the highest score possible Much like i have a compulsion to pick up a cool stick Wow you're fkn weird. Going out of your way to misinterpret someone, bring attention to it, call them out on it, be rude to them - for no reason And then be proud of yourself for thinking your subjective opinion is more valid than someone else's? Congrats, over 100 people got my meaning without issue And you just made a total fool of yourself
He was probably afraid of poison. If he grew his cards attack too much before, he would be susceptible to it, you can see before the enemy pass all the highest attack cards were from the opponent.
damn that npc held out like a champ, i dont think ive seen ai go over 200 in my playthroughs. my ai, even on hard gwent difficulty, doesnt seem to understand the mechanics of the cards. ive seen ai scorch itself, play weather cards that only harms his cards and they love passing first round after i play a bunch of spies then desperately playing their hand as i waste their resources by playing my weakest cards and the rest of my spies.
the amount of luck it gets to have this sequence with skellige, just wow. I tried many times to get a high score with this faction I never exceeded more or less 400... Amazing video ! ps: which png did you played against ?
My high score is something like 290 and I was annoyed I didn't manage to get it over 300. That was with Northern Realms and I had near-perfect RNG. This is just insane - I've never really tried the Skellige deck other than the quest where you have to win with it. Guess I've been sleeping on its potential!
I wish I could use it more because it's so satisfying but the Skellige deck is so infuriatingly tedious and requires near-perfect rng to actually use properly.
If the computer had been smart enough to hold off bringing back Villentretenmerth until later, it would’ve ruined his whole day… Half his front row was 13’s for most of the third round.
So, am I missing something? How is he starting out using a card unique to the Nilfgaard deck when he's playing with a Skellige deck? Just last night I went around and finished up gathering the last of the Skellige deck and then won the tournament in Toussaint. I've been playing a hell of a lot of Gwent the last couple months, and I don't know of any way to do what he's doing.
@@zoetje9817 Actually, that's what I get for posting late at night. I just now rewatched it and realized that was the NPC using a spy card. I retract my former statement, this makes perfect sense, when I'm not half asleep.
When the enemy pass in the first round you can get min. 7 points more (634). In theory you can also play against Sasha and get more points from the spies. But it's not feasible in practice because it starts to burn your cards at the end. In summary ... 7 more points are possible.
I think you can use cow as well in the second round when NPC forfeit, 1 more card - 8 points @@kretztech, congrats on improving! we are waiting for more :)
Yes, it is difficult and time-consuming to get the right constellation. In addition, the opponent also has to play along. Nobody said that games like this were easy. ;-)
poor guy probably had 2 scorches that he couldn't use because of his black infantry archers 😂 Them and Skellen are such inconvenient cards for nilfgaard
How did they not play any rain or fog or ice on u That's all they play on me I have to use northern realms deck with the cancel weather leader ability U get an achievement for scoring like 185 and the most ive got with NR deck is a lil over 250 I use spies and decoys and the ones that lemme pull spies from my deck The cow is cool to play in the first round I always win the first round and play it all 2nd round Unless it's a tricky opponent with a good deck I always try to win first round Its usually like a 15 to 10 round but I get em down to 6 cards while I keep over 10 with the spies I never lose
