It’s well worth listening to the Audio books while you’re doing something else too, studying, working out or before bed to chill. This game out of all 3 games followed the book series the closest. So many little nods to the book series. Basically to get you up to speed, Geralt lost his memory between the books and the first game, and he ended up slowly getting it back. At the end of the second game he does get it back and has been hooking up with someone called Triss, who he knew from before. BUT! It turns out he sacrificed himself to serve the wild hunt, losing his memory to free his main squeeze Yennefer. So, this game starts with him thinking ‘oh shit, gotta go find my real girl Yen, and I’ve been ploughing this side chick Triss for months. Better go find her’. That’s where it starts.
@@omista1304 My advice for the quests is to take your sweet ahh time reading all the info about monster weaknesses etc. and if something seems beyond you for the time being you can always comeback to it later.
Just this game overall has a great story and many good quests and dialogues. Hopefully u will have a good time! Don’t forget to explore and replay the game in Newgame+ for upgrades to ur armor and blades.
Yeah the choices in this game are more impactful than cyberpunk but it's not bethesda level in terms of options (not that thats a bad thing just thought I would mention it).
@omista1304 Meh. Cyberpunk is the most fuckin bland game I've ever played. So boring and tedious. I was NEVER bored with the Witcher. So goddamn well written and built. Can't wait for TW4!!!
I’ll say the beginning is somewhat slow. Somewhere along the line though it turns into one of the best games I’ve played. I’m on NG+ deathmarch right now and it’s perfect.
@@mythrillmeyhem8998OH thanks for letting me know, I'm progressing the game right now and I'm on family matters quest but so far things are going well.
I've just started Witcher 3 Wild Hunt. It's taken a while to get into it (I really thought the opening scenes weren't great) but I'm starting to enjoy it. Great review. Some bits made me laugh "this guy keeps going on about how he is too old for this" - excellent.
Glad you enjoyed the video, the first 20 minutes were pretty slow but things started to get really interesting after that, I'm excited to explore and discover new things with this game so far it's really fun.
