Pretty bold of Ciri saying this was her story at the end of the game. Then again, maybe it’s best she wasn’t aware of the 100 hours I spent on side quests and playing Gwent.
Technically she's always been the protagonist and Geralt was the plot driven character, we know Ciri from before her birth from the books to the end of the game
@@youdonegoofed you're such a goof, to think the games are canon and the 1st 2 games are just about Geralt fixing his amnesia so obviously Ciri isn't mentioned and Yen barely in the 2nd when Geralt starts remembering, come back when you actually know what you're talking about
@@youdonegoofed It's still all connected if you pay attention to the story. The whole Geralts lost memory. Even if Ciri isn't there, she's like the really big part of his life.
@@IzzyMann Yes, the combat system could be done better but personally I do not find it so bad, indeed when you have to fight I am so focused and enthusiastic that I do not notice. For the rest about main story, side quests, setting and music is perfect.
I tell you what I did. If you wait like 3-4 years without playing it at all (use this time to read the books, play Witcher 2, etc.) and then comeback to Witcher 3, you'll still remember what happens in some main quests, but the rest will feel like a new game to you, even details in those main quests will surprise you.
@@vkramer actually I'm almost doing the same played the game last time in 2019 and in the meanwhile read the books, played witcher 2 and watched the series now I'm gonna play it again once I build my new pc soon
@@vkramer I did that exact same thing, and i agree. If you read the books and play the other games, you can play tw3 from a completely different perspective. Almost like a different game.
Playing the game for the 6th time. Never ever felt bored playing this masterpiece. The best game ever that I have played till now. Nothing still beats it still today.
Not going to lie, I am playing through again since the update, and I have spent hours just gawking at the gorgeous graphics! This is the definition of masterpiece at every turn. Music, graphics and story....beyond top notch. Hell, the story is so good a friend of mine just watched me play and she was pulled into it like a movie!
RDR2 you mean the game that gives you a game over because you tried to flank a group of ennemies or climbed on a roof during a stealth mission ? Even GTA3 that came out in 2001 didn't do that lmao
This game has been out for almost 10 years now and it still puts other games in their place, this game cannot be topped, another wonderful trailer. Love you CD Projekt Red
This game is something more... more than an RPG, more than merely a video game... It's an experience that has the power to change you. This will remain always, my most favorite story put to a game of all time. THANK YOU, CDPR for creating such a magical masterpiece.
Ahh the Wolf and the Swallow :) This franchise and these characters mean so much to me, this and Mass Effect are the only two games to really touch me on a deep spiritual level. despite what’s going on with the live action stuff I’m confident Witcher 4 and anything else Witcher related from CDPR is gonna be absolute perfection
not sure about W4, everyone who worked on W1-3 seems to have left CDPR, and considering what a load of garbage CP2077 turned out to be, I don't have much faith in the current members of that team I wait news about W1 remake in UE5 that they are working on much more than the W4, too easy to screw up and make something too much woke (like netflix series) with the W4 project, at least they can't rewrite W1 too much during a nextgen update (hopefully :P )
Just finished the main quest of this beautiful masterpiece of a game. CPR, please don't abandon this story. I'd like to see the beginning & more of Geralt's & Ciri's adventures!
This trailer captures the main reason why I love this game so much - at it’s core, it’s about relationships. Father/daughter, father/son, mentors, friends, enemies, and lovers. The game has such heart, and will always remain my favorite.
i'd do LITERALLY ANYTHING to experience this game for the VERY first time.... first time roaming white orchard, not knowing what to do... first time choosing over important matters first time exploring skellige AND hearing its music first time accepting olgierd's mysterious contract and yet his tragic story... first time meeting dettlaff and, again, making difficult choices on his fate... first time hearing geralt's "wind's howling" or "the storm dammit" or "looks like rain" oh god...
@@daddyleon Disagree, the janky combat system in KCD took away from the story significantly for me. I actually love the combat in TW3 because it feels fluid and fast, like a witcher should fight.
This game revived my passion for gaming back when it came out. Even though I never stopped playing games I just felt jaded since a lot of big AAA stuff back then was really soulless, then I play this and was absorbed. Total masterpiece.
I have so pleasant memories watching this trailer. I passed this game for about 4 years ago, and it’s still in my heart. I remember every moment in this game, every character. The game made a deep trace on me. I don’t want it to be left just like that. I’m looking forward to seeing a new story in this universe. Thanks CDPR ❤
My favourite game of all time and I'm playing it through again with the series X update, taking my time and enjoying it,still an amazing experience and still got the dlcs to play,so many hours gameplay
@@ollerius0760 Thank you for that objectively right statement... not. Let other people enjoy stuff. You cant claim that its objectively bad just because you dont like it
Polish tv show The Hexer was better in showing their relationship. It's only an adaptation of the two short stories books (The Last Wish and Sword of Destiny) and it has terrible special effects (rubber monsters), props (Geralt uses katana), etc., but the story is shown way better than in the Netflix show. Oh, and the music is amazing. Way better ballads of Jaskier/Dandelion, than in the Netflix show. If you have a chance to watch it with subtitles, do it. They developed the story of Geralt and Ciri in amazing manner. That's what was missing the most in the first season of Netflix's show - the Brokilon story from the books.
This is much more than a game. This is one of the purest forms of storytelling. The level of detail and attention that went into making this beautiful game is amazing to say the least. Everything was perfect. Played it thrice along with the DLCs and to this day I still find something new.
Hopefully we can expect the PC update soon. There is just too many issues that need fixing for the next gen update and lack of communication about it concerns me.
@@Hananiah70 I am with mods and it's amazing, just pointing out that 4.0 update needs a lot more work to be put into and that some communication on if anything is being worked on would be nice.
I'm not crying, you're crying! Nearly done with my 4.0 playthrough. My fourth time around. 1,200+ hours now. This masterpiece literally changed my life in so many ways.
That image of the medallion surrounded by snow... and this last sentence of the trailer I think is a confirmation that it will be a direct sequel where the protagonist is ciri
Best game ever created. Thank you CDPR for creating such a piece of art. No other game comes close to it. Witcher 3 doesn't even feel like a game it feels so real. Like life itself. Like another dimension. The story, the characters, the cinematic combat, the music! Loved everything about it. Finished it 5 to 6 times till now.
Спасибо за русские субтитры ) И спасибо за великолепную игру. Очень рад за тех игроков, которые только сейчас в нее сыграют, их ждет настоящее приключение.
When will the stuttering be fixed, the crashes, the game breaking bugs and the photo mode? But don't complain: the trailer was free! How can people complain when the trailer was free?
It’s my 6th play-through and game never cases to amaze me! As a God from completely different saga and universe, I’ve found this incredibly worthy of me and my time!
Got this today for 12$. Best purchase I have ever done. I have played 2 hours so far and I am hooked. I am feeling sorry for myself for not playing this before.
the same thing, I'm waiting until a fix patch is released, CDPR said that it will be released very soon, I hope that it will be released on Monday 29th)
