@@DomJuanVI It is the chat between Geralt (Lv4) and the bandit in the second inn if you choose to explain to him instead of quarreling for a fight... Geralt said, silver is used for monster, the steel is used for human
There is a point where Geralt stabs someone with the Silver Sword canonically Don't get to see what happens but judging from the fact that you can freely use it on bandits and hostile humans uh it probably just did nothing
@@lattekahvi1298 well if we're talking about german mark. 1 euro are 2 mark. So in german mark yennefer was sold for 8 euro. That's about one fresh made pizza in Germany. Not necessarily a decent one though.
@@joshuaolsen6509 ironically whirl is actually a really bad skill because it pretty much only really functions against fodder enemies who either get staggered by everything or can't block more than two hits. Every decent human just blocks all the attacks and every decent monster just can't be bothered and attacks through it. I've been sword/sign as well in my first 2 runs. But that was on sword and story. On death march you can't afford to do long ass combos so whirl becomes useless. Rend is still good though since it bypasses blocking. The exception is whirl with a sword that has the rune word which increases the range of whirl and rend. With that both skills are absolutely devastating.

[TRANSLATION + EXPLANATION] Lazarus day is celebrated 8 days before Easter and is the biggest "spring/maiden" holiday. On it the rites and rituals of Lazaruvane are observed. There are various rites in the seven folk regions, but generally they all involve Lazarki - groups of young, unmaried girls. They visit the river, weave wreaths of flowers and go around the village houses and singing songs to the people of the home who greet them with bread and salt, honey and fruits and eggs for the upcomming Easter. It is also the time when boys are supposed to ask for a girl's hand. The lyrics of the song are spoken from the point of view of the Elder woman leading the lazarki. Raduvay se, raduvay. (4x) [T](Be) joyful, joyful (x4)* Oy Lazare, Lazare. Tuka ni sa kazali - [T] Hey, Lazarus, Lazarus [T] They've told us (that) here Kolko liste po gorach, tolko zdrave na taz kyshcha. [T] As many leaves in the forest [T] So many health to this house Tervo tuka doydome. Moma momche naydеme*. [T] Here we have come [T] Girl (and) boy find (to bring together) (To find the girl a boy) Ya* momata godete. Ya* momcheto zhenete. [T] (Hey, get) The girl engaged [T] (Hey, get) The boy married. NB. - Moma translates most accurately as maiden, however many translations preffer "(young) girl" or "woman", because the Balkan word lacks the Western European connotation of chivalry. - Words marked with * sound olden and are not oft used in modern language. - In gendered languages like Bulgarian there are two different words for marrige. Women "se omujvat" to a man and men "se ojenvat" to a woman. - "Banana tiger" means banana tiger. Neither tigers nor bananas are found on the Balkan peninsula. :) ... Actualy the singer is saying something like "parara dam, parara dam dam".
Videogames are a better platform than movies for composers. This OST and other games' (Metal Gear, etc.) proves it. I'm very grateful for Mr. Marcin P. for composing such beautiful songs.
This song and few others from Witcher aren't composed by Marcin Przybyłowicz. They were made by Percival Schuttenbach, they are polish folk/folk metal band. Marcin rearranged them to fit the game. Listen to "Lazare" or "Sargon" from Percival and you will hear what I mean.
god I love the contrast between the two songs. silver for monsters having that kinda eerie and mystical sound to it, almost like the outcome is uncertain in some situations, breathing both caution and confidence. While this one is pure confidence almost like geralt is walking towards a group of bandits/mercenaries and smiling (I say almost because this equally could be geralt surrounded about to kickass). this song just screams to the enemy you have no chance. Showing just how different witchers treat the two threat
@@fuzzyapplepie6940 he did but that's not the issue he was stupid and didn't believe the games would be popular so he took one big payment instead of getting a portion of whatever the games made and then he tried to sue to get more money when that didn't work he moved on to making a Netflix series
@Calan Smith RU-vid being cunts likely. CDPR is happy when people share their models, music, content, etc as it builds notability. The only thing they ask is you properly source it, this vid was properly sourced.
Even though the title is called Steel For Humans, this song actually resonated to me more when I was fighting the horrors in Velen. I still remember the first time I bumped into a lv20 Leshen and this song played. It was the most tense experience I have had in the game.
imo this song title is random, this theme encapsulates the atmosphere of the crones' turf, specially because all the songs related to them (orphans theme and their theme song) have violins.
I always wondered why they would use a wedding song as battle music, but now that you mention it, it's so obvious why that I can't help but wonder why I never made the connection.

I've always imagined Banana Tigers to be really cheeky and mischievous, like a minor villain in a One Piece arc that's stolen a village's log post just for fun and giggles

Just had a dream and Geralt randomly appeared. I was like isn't that the Witcher? Then this music started playing and a huge fight broke out with other humans. I'm glad the right song played because I haven't played this game in years 😂 it could have easily have been silver for monsters
Although not thematicly correct (sounds alot more epic than monsters song) loved this song when it played during fiend battle where you,the baron, and his men sieg crookback bog. All the humans work together killing monsters, with the crones taunting you, this blasting when suddenly a fiend shows up and its up to you alone to kill it. Nothing really topped it since
Ok, so for those who are curious - it's based on a bulgarian folk song called Oy, Lazare (Ой, Лазаре). Lyrics: Oy Lazare, Lazare Tuka ni sa kazali Kolko liste po gora Tolkoz zdrave na taz kyshta Pyrvom tuka doydohme Moma, momche naydohme Ya momata godete Ya momcheto zhenete Translation: Oh Lazarus, Lazarus Here they told us As many leaves in a forest That much health in this house First we came here A girl, a boy we found Wed the girl Wed the boy Lyrics in Cyrillic: Ой Лазаре, Лазаре Тука ни са казали Колко листе по гора Толкоз здраве на таз къща Първом тука дойдохме Мома, момче найдохме Я момата годете Я момчето женете

I like to think this song is not just the theme of Geralt fighting humans, but what other inteligente species in this world see humans using steel for: to kill anything on their path and each other. Steel for humans.
