"It's now up to Geralt to put his memories in order"... meanwhile all I want to do is forget so I can relive the game that more or less became my life.
So grateful for being able to be your Yennefer for this project 😍 The video turned out amazing and everyone on the cast and crew did such an awesome job! ❤️
@@georged.5595 You mean Third game (minus Blood and Wine) was accurate to the books, it just held on to and incorporated innacuracies from previous games as well.
Not even 2 seconds in and Triss was cast better here than Netflix. Reading some comments, I feel like I'm beating a dead horse, but I'm glad I'm far from the only person who felt that way.
The series adapts the books, not the games, and in the books, Triss is nothing like she is in the games. CD project decided to give her such importance, so you can't really blame the series for this
The series works on ya. The Netflix series is a masterpiece. Half of the stuff that happens in the show is a mixture from the books and I think that’s awesome. Just give it more time because it’s not all that bad.
It's incredible that CDP is THAT much better at handling The Witcher than Netflix. It's getting hard to even compare them due to the sheer difference of class
@@megamastahI agree on the contemporary part but I don't really get the part about not making the witcher political when politics are A HUGE part of the story of both the books and the games.
@@KanohiVahi I agree with you. Absolutely the plot in no small part about constant power grabs and political machinations, which is fine. What I had in mind by political in my original post (fault on my part) is identity politics, tribal thinking, intersectionality and other contemporary bullshit like that. Unless it's specifically about a given topic, once a game/movie smuggles current problems under the guise of the plot, it's out of date - and usually laughably wrong - in a couple of years' time.
Yeah that budget part is a crazy exaggeration but the fact that this video probably had a super small budget compared to the Netflix series and still did much better job with some castings actually makes this video even better. Case and point: King Foltest. He looks so much better here than in the NF series.
I have over 1100 hours in TW3 alone. I have no clue how many hours I have in the first two. The Witcher is my favorite game series ever, and TW3 is my favorite game ever.
This game is a masterpiece and will forever remain one ! No one was expecting this game to shake the gaming industry when it first came out but oh man, it punched every gamer in the gut and made them scream with immense joy...
We expected it mate. The Witcher 2 was FIRE, hailed as one of the best RPGs ever made. The Witcher 3 had some aggressive marketing, going open-world and stuff. CDPR delivered on every note.
This was neat and better than the Netflix stuff. My favorite is the one you guys made years ago where geralt thanks all the players for playing The Witcher 3 and everybody's having a feast.
I wanted to play this game for a along time and was waiting for the next-gen update ! Super excited to get immersed. Glad to know the events of the witcher 1 and 2 , thanks for this video.
I always wondered though why the game never talked about Foltest's daughter who is however very important in The Witcher 2 considering she was meant to rule over Temeria
This whole thing is hilarious, but a great way to remind us all of the great stories from 1 and 2. Time to finally pass the 1,000 hour mark in TW3! Currently at ~900.
XD that was awesome!! They sure had fun on the making of for sure. It was not necessary as I replayed the first games, once again, just waiting for replay the last (for now) with the new patch. Gonna enjoy it as the first time ;)
OMG that's so cool! It would be insane with a little more budget to make an adaption in Netflix of it, i mean that's some pretty good material here... Ho wait .... Also Iorveth live rent free in my mind ! My man
Really well done and summarized 👌 I don't know what some people don't like about the video. After all, not everything can be an AAA production. You should really appreciate the work behind a video like this. Thank you for your work for the fans. LG Julian 😎
The sorceresses looking better than in the high budget Netflix "adaptation." Lmaoing hard @ Netflix. Roche and Yorveth look great too, so does Geralt, and Zoltan deserves an oscar for costume and acting.
