*I find TW1, 2, and 3 to still look and play great (for their age). I am an obsessed fan with The Witcher. You are right. The story is the more rich part of the game series. But I love everything about these games.* *I think as long as the remake is loyal to the original, it will be awesome to see. But if they stray too far from the original mob, npc, buildings, and land layout, then it won't feel legit.*
I hope the witcher remake will connect it with the witcher 2 and 3, because as it is with CDPR's version now, it's imo a separate story that has no real connection to the witcher 2.
as much as i want another witcher, CDPR have already stated they are going to fully embrace the DEI nonsense in their next games, so i'm not feeling too hopeful that it's going to be good.
I still find Witcher 1 soundtrack to be the best of the 3 and i missed in the other games people hidding from rain under roofs. Watching them just standing there getting all wet was an ambient breaker.
Goddamn right. Witcher 1 atmosphere sounds the most unique. Also the art style used to have a more gothic-like medieval settings, giving it a darker vibe. And the OST is brilliantly composed in that way. "An Ominous Place" or the Merchant District theme are of my favorite of all time.
@@Gwynbl31dd Nice point here. Even in Wyzima at night you meet very few people and the streets feel unsettling. You can also get attacked by some vampire sometimes iirc.
if the witcher 4 has improved movement it will be goated! the witcher 3‘s biggest flaw was definetely the responsiveness and smootheness of walking, combat and horse movement
Bro i doubt that studio will exist till 2026, not to mention 2030. They're just making promises and thats all. I doubt they will even release short game play of this remake any time soon
@@mateusdesousa556have you ever read the books ?. Bro The whole idea of Witcher sword fight is that they are that good at it and each school has its own vision about like cat about precision, wolf by balance and bear by force. Like in the books Geralt is not a madmen swinging his sword like an anime character he is thoughtful and methodical
@@Sirnekk the Witcher’s fighting style is supposed to be more like a dance. Which is why he spins, it’s supposed to be more fantasy than practical. Just read the lore, you will understand.
In The Witcher 1, Geralt feels more like a warrior monk, which was awesome. I hope they use some of the animations from The Witcher 1-the idea of Geralt using some form of martial arts and unorthodox sword fighting (the group stance animations were sick) was more appealing than in The Witcher 3, which was too simple and had too much spinning.
I played The original a long time ago, and I thought it was pretty good. But When I try to play it now on a modern PC, I can't go more than 10 minutes without it crashing to the desktop, so I'm pumped for the remake
I've only played The Witcher 3 and I love the game I'm still not finished I'm on the last of the DLC but I've been exploring and trying to collect all the Grandmaster Witcher gear to put in his house
I never bothered playing the Witcher 3 despite everyone saying how good it was. Though a few months ago I finally gave in since it was on sale. I wasn't interested at first (I don't know anything about the lore) but as I kept playing it started getting more interesting. Now I'm in love with the game and can't wait to play the 4th (I also started trying the 2nd one as well). I'm happy to see the original game is getting a remake, I can't wait to try it
if they really gonna delay it until 2028 or 2029 or even 2030, there will be Unreal Engine 6 already Because Tim Sweeney already working on Unreal Engine 6 since 2023
There is no card game in the original. In the original we played dices... To be honest, this analysis reeks of "I haven't played w1, I just watched few videos about it."
unless I die before the release of the witcher 4 (I'll be well in my 50s when we have to wait another 5 years) I'll probably play it, however, I'm more excited about the remake to be honest.
Leave the combat as witcher 3's people love the game because of its simplicity and complexity if you so choose. It has to work for a wide audience. Making combat too complicated will turn off many players.
Good video, loved the swift info, background, music, simply sweet! 🔥 I'm hoping for an early 2029 release (sheesh crazy to think that'll be 5 years)... 🌌 The Witcher I is an amazing title and I'd love to see a beautiful, yet atmospheric and iconic game that'll feel like the original, but with a lot of newly added content, updated systems (ui, combat, options, etc.) and much more! ⚔️ I'll have to think about some stuff which I'd like to be added... 🤔 Appreciate the content, take care, peace! 🍻
Why complain about combat in W3? You had to have a boxing match with a bear in Skellige. What's to complain about, it's the story we play for, not the fights.
i cant wait for this game to come out beat the first game 2 years ago love it for the most part the music is amazing. Also it has a great vibe as well to the world i hope they an keep the same level of charm as the og game.
@WesNemo Literally done that a few months ago, have them played? I got past the tutorial and been exploring. For quest I didn't do the first time, there are some pretty decent mods
I remember getting a completly new computer and the game a few days after,. The gfx were amazing, and it had titties :D. dang good times. life was simple when you were a young lad.
3 is really really loosely related to the first 2. I mean there are some characters who come back and some references, but the main story has almost nothing to do to the first 2. Both has excellent stories! I can recommend giving them a shot
The witcher main themes: racism, imperialism, expansionism, religious fanatism, fearmongering etc... Either you haven't played the games or read the books, or you don't have a clue on what you witnessed
No Witcher game so far uses books material. Witcher 1 starts where books ended, and W2 and W3 continues CDPR created Geralt's story. There are of course some parts of the books used here and there (ie. story with Adda) but most of books material is not there. In theory, they could use original books material to create Witcher 4 - it would be prequel to what we have in W1-W2-W3 - but it is very unlikely, as they want to tell Lynx witcher school (which was absent in original books)
Considering how the Witcher 4 looks like a pile of shit before we have much new news now Sweet Baby ink have their grubby left wing woke hands in the pie, this better be good.
It’s going to be more modern meaning more black people in areas that have been predominantly white based on the game and the lore. Think the Netflix show casting where they change multiple white women to black women.
Now that there is proof CDProject Red is working with Sweet Baby Inc. , I won't buy anymore of their games. They said they are going to make changes in the remake to take out anything offensive. Nah, if I want play it again, I'll play the original.
why not just use the Witcher 1 combat, why does everything have to be the same Witcher3/GhostOfTsushima combat slop where even your grandma could beat it. The skill ceiling is so low and after a decade of all games having the exact same combat aren't we getting a bit tired of it? We're all adults here, are you all really that afraid of combat where you have to use your noggin'
