@@diegosotomiranda4107 I'm curious to see how much of his book characterization and actions they add into the adaptation. The end of season 2 has me hopeful for some things but I guess we'll see how accurate it is, considering how many things they changed in that one season alone.

I still think they have a long way to go tbh, jaskier wasn't as present in season 2 as he was 1 and they're still just toeing the line into serious jaskier. I really hope they give him more time in season 3 and maybe take him more seriously, Joey is an amazing actor and deserves more impactful dialogue.

I know what you mean, even though I'm unfamiliar with the source material: In a 1982 adaptation of Sir Walter Scott's classic _Ivanhoe,_ there was a jester by the name of Wamba who, in that adaptation, was played as a simpering, cowardly idiot. But in the original novel, he was, just as you describe Jaskier, far more cunning and intelligent than people around him gave him credit for. Wamba would use this cunning, in his position as "Foole", to plant seeds of troublesome ideas and to subtly insult high-borns to their faces, but get away with it all because he was "just a Fool", and a noble getting angry at the words of a Fool was seen as a weakness.

I agree to this ! ....give us more than just witty banter and comic relief, jaskier felt overlooked this season and definitely underused for the plot

But even then, they made him come across as petty and self-serving, which contradicts everything that Joey says in interviews that Jaskier is an empathetic character who feels others' pain. They did him a dirty this season, and the only reason I still love and adore Jaskier is because of Joey. Joey is perfection.

Attention please: To everyone who’s ever wondered, God is real. The Bible is truth. The key that so many miss is in the inner work Jesus Christ laid out. Specifically forgiveness. To be forgiven we must forgive. It’s a mandatory requirement that keeps God at arm’s length until you’ve done it. Specifically forgiving our parents. It’s a secret truth of this universe. Our parents have generally loved us to some degree, feeding raising clothing etc. They are supposed to be the easiest people for anyone to forgive. That’s why it was made the bare minimum stander for us. If there’s love in your heart you forgive. It shows so much love and faith to God.
