They honestly could’ve done a Geralt in a coma thing, where the are having to go into a some kind of cave to heal and merging next season, could explain the face change from Henry to Liam
The reason why I said “kind of disappointing” was because of how low I put my expectations for season 3 volume 1 and specifically volume 2. Ever since the writers started to veer away from the original source material, I’ve personally cared less and less for the show that I once thought could have been a promising adaptation. So I just started to watch The Witcher assuming that it would just be a boring, generic, lackluster fantasy show, and even with these expectations, I was still kind of disappointed with the lame finale for Henry Cavil’s Geralt of Rivia. I agree! I will admit I do not know the history of The Witcher nor have read any books, but it was very disappointing on many levels for me: some actors were tremendously overacting which was such a distraction. I could not feel the connection between Ciri and Yennefer nor Geralt. Ciri at times had waaay too much makeup on for that time period and being stuck in a desert - another distraction.
All the seasons building up to the next season which builds up to the next season 😂. It's like the writers only write an episode for a couple of good moments and it felts like redundant.
@@CC-iu7sq Yes and no. No, the Season 4 won't be cancelled, because they are already working on it. But yes - Season 3's viewership was incredibly low overall, let alone compared to Season 1 and even Season 2.
@@TheCursedCat1927 Season 3’s viewership was incredibly high. I do not know what you’re talking about. It was low compared to season 1. That is true. But frankly, that’s irrelevant. Fun fact: Every show ever made in the history of entertainment has its highest viewership numbers in their first seasons. Below is a list of a few, to start: 1. The Walking dead 2. Lost 3. Criminal Minds 4. Game of Thrones 5. Stranger Things 6. The 100. Need I go on? You can go through the top 100 shows of ALL TIME, and not a single one will record higher viewership in their later seasons in comparison to their first 1-2. That’s a fact. Here’s another fact that many “Witcher” fans cannot grasp. Most of them, have never read the books. It’s an obvious one, but one that needs stated. The ones who especially have never read the books, are the ones bitching online about the show. If you sit here and say the Witcher is a bad TV show because it deviates from the lore, you’ve never actually read the lore.
@@TheCursedCat1927 1. Season 3 was a drop from the first season. Sure. I already said that. Despite that drop, it was overall still by far the most viewed show on Netflix in its genre. By far. Like I said, every show in history drops viewership over time. Why should the Witcher be an exception? 2. I never said the show was accurate to the books, nor is it intended to be. Nobody reads the books. Let’s be real for a moment here. Outside of the Harry Potter series, there’s not a single IP that has record setting books sales matching up with their show ratings. The Lord of the Rings or the Game of Thrones are your closest comparisons, yet 99% of their audience still never read the books. Be real for a moment. 3. Not sure why you’re going off on a tangent about how the show deviates from the books, as if I didn’t already know that. I said that multiple times already. Book nerds were bitching about season 1 changing nilfgaardian armor on day one. That was when the opinions of the entire book audience was discredited. Your opinion doesn’t matter. That’s reality. The show is reviewed well amongst independent critics. Especially in the day and age where it’s the cool thing to review bomb entertainment, that’s all that matters. Game of Thrones had to deviate from their lore source as well. Despite losing millions in viewership from season to season, they still finished pretty decent. Even at GOT peak, they still had 1/5 of the Witcher season 3s viewership to their comparative seasons. It’s kinda hard to keep up with viewership from season 1, when that viewership was damn near 100 Million. Be better.
I watch it thinking its gunna get good but it gets worse the director got blessed with a show that will have viewers regardless thanks to the books and games because without that the show would of been cancelled after 1 season
This is part 1 of 2. This season isn't even over. I yhink they're going to try and have Henry Cavill come back for random scenes and the show will end with grown up retard ex machina strong independent women ciri show him how much better she is than him now
