The Wizard (1989) - Good movie, or long Nintendo commercial?

Thanks for this, was cool to hear about it from someone else who grew up with the NES. When I saw this movie in the theaters, it was just OK to me at the time. Favorite part was probably seeing SMB3 in motion, not sure if I had even seen screenshots at that point. But I love watching this movie as an adult, really makes me nostalgic for the late 80's. Hope I can take a road trip and see some of the filming locations someday. "I Found My Way" is indeed a great listen, I believe Sally Dworsky isn't even sure about the rights or location of the master recording, but feel free to take that info with a grain of salt.

I can't remember if I've seen the Wizard. It's now on my, buy it list. Savannah Smiles, is one of my favorites. It came out in 1982, I think. As an adult I had to add it to my collection.
