I love just how disconcerting Hacaea's interaction is. Not only is she an ancient and powerful witch (with auto moss vision), but the sheer, overpowering status play of replying to Ame's whole fancy, respectful greeting protocol with nothing but an inscrutable "honor honor" is so buck wild. Honestly, at this point, I'm kind of more afraid of Hacaea than Grimore. Grimore may be powerful and intimidating, but it feels pretty easy to clock where her priorities and motives will sit in most interactions. Usually nature wardens are pretty easy to understand, but I feel like Hacaea is going to end up as kind of a wildcard, as both a truly ancient witch and the steward of a domain that fully doesnt concern itself with humanity or social constructs. We all know Mirara is a whole situation in her own right, but I don't think Hacaea is going to be a freebie nature friend thats easy to win over in the politics to come. At this point I'm also not sure what to make of Indri either. I can't tell if she's going to be an accessible ally or a political foe. I can't wait to see the coven meetings start to play out!

That entire ending sequence with the arrival of the witches was one of the greatest endings I have ever heard. Bravo Brennan!! Next episode is sure to be interesting.

Every time one of these drops, I can't wait for the first two hour break I can get to listen to it!

The best storytelling out there right now anywhere near this format, and truly up there in general.

It's about to get super interesting! I predict there will be a short visitation of the PC's checking in with each other quickly before Ame is wisked away to do her Witchy things. Ursalon and Suvi get some time to chum up to the other retinue squads and size things up. Investigating details about the witches and pry into their likeness and possible plans- then a recess to allow Ame and other witches to confer with their advisors. I can't wait for more!

Suvi is INSUFFERABLE. (To be clear, Aabria is telling her story incredibly and I LOVE Aabria. No shade to her )

Had to come back and relisten to this again. I absolutely love that including Grandmother Wren we have five examples of super powerful witches with EXTREMELY different vibes, all of them fantastic and so extremely fitting

I love Grimore, actually. She just. Is terrifying. And then says something like 'do you want to look at my teeth, too?' and that should be incredibly hilarious and somehow it's just more scary again. Iconic. Edit: And then goes 'I was just going to try to lick your nose'. which is like. an amazing thing to say.
