THE WIZARDING TRUNK | House Pride | Harry Potter Unboxing 

The tapestry is part of a series of tapestries called "The Hunt of the Unicorn", all of which hang in the Slytherin common room and can be seen in CoS, including in the special features where you can tour the common room and see them clearer!

The Hunt of the Unicorn or the Unicorn Tapestries is a series of seven tapestries made in the South Netherlands around 1495-1505, and now in The Cloisters in New York. They were possibly designed in Paris and show a group of noblemen and hunters in pursuit of a unicorn through an idealised French landscape. Artist: Meister der Apokalypsenrose der Sainte Chapelle

honestly i think it's pretty cool that some of the stuff included in this box is more subtly harry potter related. as we get older, some of us want to continue to put our fandom on display, but in more "mature" and attractive ways. that tapestry is a great example.

Number two (02) for the letterman's patch is for the Beater's position on the quidditch pitch. Number three (03) is also for a Beater. Position Numbers: 01 = Keeper 02 = Beater 03 = Beater 04 = Chaser 05 = Chaser 06 = Chaser 07 = Seeker

All four of the house tapestries are versions of famous medieval tapestries that exist. This was one of my favorite boxes. I have now seen all the houses unboxed, including my own at home. Love your channel. It great to share my love for all things Harry Potter.

I loved every single item in this box, its so fun seeing all the different items for each of the houses, mine was super delayed because of the bank holiday but Im just in love with this box. Im going to be turning my bedroom into a Ravenclaw themed room so the items we got will help massively with that

The Ravenclaw box was my favourite!!! It was the first box I've seen with the right house colors and the eagle as mascot! 💙💙

The Salem sisters is in every box so it connects them together so all can see the concert that’s so thoughtful and put together

I think the tapestry is such a cool idea! It feels way more realistic to what I think would actually be in Hogwarts. I'm interested to see what the other tapestries look like.

Fun unboxing, but I did notice on the Grindylow poster they spelled discretion wrong. They put "disgression" might be something to point out to Wizarding Trunk.

After watching all the houses unboxing, my favorite is the prints! I love that they presented how the prefects of the four houses responded to issues (Slytherin: immediately reported to the headmaster, Gryffindor: deducted 50 house points, Ravenclaw: Quick Answer ink was turned to the headmaster and all students' work were reviewed, and the most different and kindest one, Hufflepuff: rehome the mandrake, this doesn't need to be reported to the headmaster as long as it's corrected immediately). There are magical creatures for sale and Ravenclaw: offers tutoring services! And the concert of Salem Sisters. Really fun and interesting! (I enjoy watching your videos! Thank you so much.)

I watched other RU-vidrs to see the other common room boxes and I just have to say, you are the BEST RU-vidr at showing subscription boxes! One person I watched didn't even show the common room print! Thank you for going over every detail of each item!

Hey Peter! I love how when u noticed the key in the box you were like “pillow cover who?? Shiny key come to me!” Hahaha… The House Pride box was such an amazingly put together box! The Slytherin tapestry depicts a savage scene but like u mentioned, I could see Slytherins taking part in that scene… anything for power haha… I agree with u, the tie does feel really nice!! My fave items were the pins and potion! Although I loved the key too. I can see how maybe a black wax seal would’ve looked better on the potion but, I still really liked it with the purple seal too lol… this was an absolutely amazing box!

Yes, The lady and the unicorn tapestry series are very old and well-known, and different forms of it are in the house's common rooms. If you look back at the movies when they are in the Slytherin common room you will see it. As soon as I saw the first box opened last week or so with it I recognized it because I've seen it before (not in person of course). I was familiar with it from taking art class when I was younger and saw a bunch of different versions of it but I'm old now so I can't remember the exact origins other than it was France in the late 1400's early 1500's. Danny did a video on his box opening for Hufflepuff on his youtube channel and said that he didn't "create" the tapestries but he helped to format them to be able to have them fit properly on a small tapestry so it would look more like the original. So it should have said "formatted" by Wizardry Workshop. Oh well, the artist who originally made them I don't think will be taking anyone to court over that little slip in the description. I never really noticed in the movies that they put those in the common rooms since I was paying more attention to the actors than their surroundings but that is a very cool addition to the decor in the movies. I wonder who thought to add that touch to the common rooms. Mina Lima perhaps? It's actually really great considering how old they are but not quite as old as Hogwarts. But you do need to redecorate sometimes right? They really knocked the keys out of the park this time. Perfect size, I saw all the houses so far and they are all really amazing. I didn't any of the previous ones they did but this series was really great. Not as nice as Litjoys, but really good.

Really enjoyed my Ravenclaw box since, while the beanie and tie are a little mundane, it's hard to otherwise find Ravenclaw clothing items in the *correct* bronze and blue so those were nice to receive. Plus all the mascot-related items had an eagle, though the decal had a *bald* eagle instead of the golden eagle that I think it's supposed to be. Love the keys, tapestries, and pillow covers for all the houses, so debating if I'll purchase them all from the store. :) The the only thing that seems exactly the same between all the boxes is the concert notice.

This was a well done box series. The key is my favorite and really crafted well for my house Ravenclaw (w/the eagle) as well as the other two houses I've now seen unboxings by Peter and Danny. Peter thanks for the fun tour and park videos!

Peter the Tapestry is real its called "The Unicorn Defends Himself" It is part of a seven tapestry series called "The Hunt of the Unicorn" and I believe the series is currently in the Metropolitan Museum Of Art. The tapestry are very famous and versions of them have been sprinkled throughout various works or inspired them. I first became aware of them after watching the movie The Last Unicorn where they are used in the first song.

I loved this box. I'm a Hufflepuff and I loved the badger stuff. You can bet I already bought all the rings and the keys. I hope the posters become available too because they are so well done. And the house founder pins are very clever.

I have just received my Ravenclaw box. Wow, so many great items. Favourite items were the pins, tapestry, cushion cover, potion and key. I also loved the fact that they went with the book Ravenclaw colours rather than the movies. Well done Wizard Trunk!

House of Ravenclaw: tapestry of 3 women with an unicorn surrounded by a fence, 07 patch (thought this was Harry's number). Wonder if the other houses have an unicorn in their tapestries; and, if they are part of the Unicorn Tapestries (which Ravenclaw's doesn't appear to be).

Love the pillow case, the decal has a nice design even though I don't really use decals, candle is a good idea and it looks like they put a lot of thought into the scents for it. The ring isn't the kind that I would personally wear as I tend to like thinner rings but it is none the less well designed. The common room print is great, I like the giant squid tentacle in the window.

I love the key, I wish I could just buy one. It is by far my favorite thing in that box.

I received the Ravenclaw box and surprisingly enough we received the number 07 for our quidditch patch! I absolutely loved this box; definitely one of my favorites from Wizarding Trunk!

Oh this is an interesting box, I hope people post the other houses! The tapestry is such a unique item, not necessarily slytherin but looks like it's out of the movie, especially with the poster. The class ring is nice!

This was my second TWT and just like the House of Black, the tapestry was my favourite followed by the key and the portrait pin. My least favourite was the potion ingredient, I’m sure people who’ve had a lot of boxes with potions before appreciate the variety but I was looking forward to getting my first potion. Not to mention, my P.O. Box service thought they were seeds/edibles and almost didn’t ship the box to me at all…

The tapestry looks really similar to a real tapestry called ‘the Devonshire Tapestry’. Definitely look it up you’ll see!

Oh woah I didn't realize that even the prints are different. In the Gryffindor box, it's a biting boomerang that is wrecking the common room, and hippogriff pups are for sale.

I love this box from all houses. I didn’t get this one because usually don’t like house boxes but this one is amazing and has so many great items. Really disappointed now 😢

Does anyone else often have playback issues with Peter's videos? I would say half the time I open his video, the video goes much more slowly than the audio, but once I exit YT and reload the video it's fine. Super weird!
