This box is INSANE. Bro they give you A PHOENIX STATUE that's LITERALLY straight from noble collections. And THEN you get a FREAKING MUG STRAIGHT FROM HOGS HEAD My god. I was grinning like an idiot the entire time. Top tier subscription box.

So my guess is that the phoenix is a fake! This traveling circus put a charm on a dodo bird to make it look like a phoenix because there's no way they could imprison a real one to be gawked at nay the masses. The box reminds me of the Circus Arcanus who we know also had some questionable ethics.

Well spotted: the lower body does have a more dodo bird-like shape to it, although admittedly it is a little bit off to say that something doesn’t look like a phoenix when it is essentially a mythical creature that exists only in the imagination. I think that the movie adaptations can have a somewhat limiting impact in terms of our preconceived notions about what they’re “supposed” to look like, as I remember that there were a much broader range of interpretations before the films came out.

A fantastic box all around, but for me I think the shirt was absolutely the best! I also love that it sits lower, because for women with a bigger bust, it will actually look better that way. Just all-around magic this time! Wonderful job, Wizarding Trunk! Now I'm even more stoked for the Keep Collecting Box!!!!

the detail on the hogs head stein is the same detailing on the steins that I grew up drinking ice cream floats out of. that's fantastic and nostalgic.

OMG, Love the hogshead glass. I've only just found your channel. Its inspired me to start Pottermore on Wizarding World and sadly I am a Hufflepuff. I'm always told I'm brave so thought I'd be in Gryfinndor. I love both the books and movies. I'm nearly 42yrs old, ASD and Deaf (with multiple other differences) and always felt like this world is ours. Keep collecting and love your vids.

My dad was the one who got me into Harry Potter. Said there was this movie about kid wizards and it was really good. What an understatement! Before he died it was the one thing (besides A Christmas Story) that we really bonded over. Because of him, I read all the books, watched all the movies, and I nerd out as hard as anyone over this stuff. I only wish I had discovered your channel sooner. As a collector myself, watching you nerd out reminds me why all fandoms are so awesome!

I would have flipped out over the lip balm. It’s in a metal casing, which is not easy to find anymore. It’s cinnamon. Favorite flavor ever!! I have to keep lip balm all over my house, my purse, everywhere I am, there needs to be lip balm. One from the wizarding world would be too perfect! Take some coffee & put it in a paper towel. Used grounds. Run it over the top of the memory vial and it will be aged when dry. I’ve done this with my kid’s school projects. We used tea. But coffee would work great too.

I just subscribed to your videos and I had to watch this unboxing, because this was my very first box from The Wizarding Trunk and when I opened it I was blown away! This is by far my favorite box I have ever gotten from any company. I cannot wait to see the next bi-monthly and quarterly box, because I'm subscribed for both. And I had been going back and forth on the Keep Collecting Box, but just broke down and bought it. As for my favorite items; the memory vial, the ROR Key, and the Hogs Head Pub Glass (which I gave to my husband and he loves it).

I have been waiting for your review of this box as your enthusiasm for all the items is fun to watch. The one critique from me is the date format, they use American yet it should be UK. I am enjoying that a few of their boxes have different variation such as stein, world cup hats, etc. Hope they keep doing that. Can't wait for the Keep Collecting box!!!!!

This wasn't my favorite box - though I do LOVE The memory vial! I wish they'd do a collection of them! I like the key concept, but Litjoy's keys are pretty much impossible to beat. Danny's work is, of course, always amazing! I didn't really care for the other items personally. Super excited for the Keep Collecting box!

This box is certainly my favorite so far. The t-shirt in this one and the tournament t-shirt are my favorites by them. They are so soft and comfy. I'm definitely looking forward to the next box in February. I'm also very tempted to sign up for the quarterly subscription (especially since the House of Black is the next one and I love Sirius).

Fantastic box! Phoenix's are my favorite and the head/face of that statue is absolutely spot on to Fawkes. He's looking a little chonky with clunky feet though. 😂 I still love it! The shirt is awesome! Love the design. I love silhouette designs like that. I have one with a red McGonagall and inside is part of Hogwarts and the statues she brings to life with piertotum locomotor beneath.

That book cover is gorgeous! I love how ostentatious it is. There is too much I like in here to pick a favorite though the memory vial, mug and tee are up there. Maybe put something in front of the bottom half of the Phoenix to disguise it a bit? 😉 P.S. that burgundy looks good on you!
