The Wolbrook Outrider review - the new best sub-500 field watch? 

Great review, very smart looking watch. And extra credit to you for being the ONLY review of the Walbrook field watch on RU-vid.

Got mine in the mail this week. Blue dial with blue leather strap. Awesome quality. Very precise, it seems to be lagging 3-4sec a day. It would be nice with a wider strap though, I find it tapers too much towards the buckle.

I decided to buy this one instead of the Hami Auto. And I am wearing it more than my Khaki Mechanical. It’s damn good. Thanks for the vid and opinion.

I just ordered an Outrider on the Black Friday sale with Hesalite glass. The great news was that, in spite of its inconveniences, I ordered it with the beads of rice bracelet & will be receiving a free One-Piece Black Tapered Leather Band (my choice) with the watch. I own a ton of watches already (yeah I know I’m crazy!) but I just wanted another Field Watch to compliment my Praesidus Tom Rice.

As a great field watch, this timepiece has definitely gone under the radar!

That's an awesome review of a watch, very descriptive! Thanks! I am going to buy it while waiting for my Rolex because... I'd like to experience the idea of "one watch" which this one should provide. I also really like the simple engineering of this piece. Wolbrook make so many cool watches at such affordable prices that I struggle to choose my piece with them!

Very nice review. I have the same watch but not the "limited" edition but the normal one. I have a brown and a black leather strap. They both come with special links which allows me to change the strap fast and easy without any tools. The straps look rough and fit very nicely. I also have some NATO straps. Ideal for summer. One thing I could complain about is that the crown, once unscrewed, is a little wobbly. Another good thing which you did not mention is that the crown has two settings and in the first one, you can very easily change the date in the window! My other "good" watch is a Tudor GMT for 10 times the price and it does not have this useful feature. I wear my Wolbrook a lot, also outside and I think, it is perfect for outdoor activities. The crystal does not scratch and due to the brushing (and not polishing), scratches on the outside are barely visible. Really good watch, top quality for the price.

What a great review I'm subbed, it's a lovely piece and I'm going to get one, understated and classy. As regards the company I can't say enough good things, I have 3 wolbrook/ douglas watches all regulated out of the box all great watches.

Hi there. I reviewed a San Martin on my Channel. I thought it was somewhat original until someone commented that it was homaging the watch in your video.

Swiss companies put beads of rice bracelets on divers for years, including Doxa. That's odd of them to use that style if they do not typically hold up to the elements.

I have a Wolbrook Skindiver WT turning up tomorrow and your review popped up on my feed since I've been researching this brand. Others have said the beads of rice bracelet pulls hairs. How do you find it? I have a San Martin beads of rice bracelet and it's the most comfortable bracelet I've ever worn, and doesn't pull hairs, so that was a vote of confidence about getting the Wolbrook. Fair call on your criticism that it's not your typical field style bracelet but the ones they have on their website now have quick-release tabs, so it would be be easy to put on an FKM rubber strap if going into the mud. If my Skindiver WT chrono is good, I can see myself also getting the Skindiver WT auto (in a different colorway), and possibly the Outrider Automatic seen here.

Thanks for a great review! I've two wolbrooks and a douglas all great watches. I've had my eye on this model for a while and will buy after Xmas, I was going to go for a Farer field watch but it's twice the price and I can't justify it, wolbrook seem to fly under the radar a bit , but in my experience you get an awful lot of watch for the money .

Is the dial glossy?

Monoblock case is made from one piece, on this watch you can see clearly it has screw in casebook,thus making it not monoblock case watch.
