wow, I have tears in my eyes from laughing. I'm at work listening to these seminars in the bg while im working. I don't go to church anymore and I'm on the fence, more so on the athesis side, but when I listen to these it's really inspiring and i really enjoy the seminars. im also learning a lot more than I've learned when i did go to church.
Mate it's not church organisation or people to look up to . It's Jesus Christ and you one on one . It's your Journey with Jesus Christ till you leave this world for nex t. What ever it's you decision. It's your choice.take care.

First of all, the account never says that the woman was divorced (vid 1:43). It says that the woman was from Samaria and that she was dipping into Jacob's well, when Jesus asked her to serve him. Now there was a reason that his disciples were not with him (prophecy wise). Next, the woman NEVER gave Jesus a drink. Although it doesn't say it, by not saying that she gave him a drink, John is saying that she refused to serve him. There are a lot more symbols in this event, and I am still working on them, but the above should be enough to get anyone who has read the BIBLE more than once ready to see the truth and meaning of the encounter. The event is a discussion between Jesus (the Word of god, or the TORAH) and the woman (the religious system of the ancient Sumerian/Babylonian Sun god). At the time of this occurrence, the ancient Sun god worshiping system had not yet "married" the Roman Empire (it had not become the official religion of Rome until 538 AD). But it had already married the previous five empires (Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Medo-Persia, and Greece). And it was refusing to serve Jesus. I leave the interpretation of the rest of the event for the intuitive student of the BIBLE to discover on their own. But I will give this last bit of advice: The ancient religious system based on the Sun god Moloch (later Baal, and then Rah) has always hated the Word of GOD (the TORAH and the Gospels) and has always refused to worship GOD on his required feast days (Sabbath, Passover, Unleavened bread, Pentecost, Trumpets, Atonement, and Tabernacles ). Instead, he has deceived man into worshiping GOD on the feast days of Moloch, such as Christmas (the birthday of the human incarnation of the Sun god Moloch, Nimrod), Easter, the spring rite of worship of Mother Earth, better known as Ashtaroth, later Ashtar, and eventually Easter), and worshiping on Sunday, better known as the day of the Sun.
this may be a daft question but if all of the disciples went into town.. who saw Jesus talk to this woman to be able to repeat verbatim what transpired?
From what I understand, the Bible is a collection of records, works, hearsay, prophecies, from many different sources. Maybe someone else was thirsty at that time! :)

Wow this must be a comedy this cannot be a real sermon.. He had absolutely no knowledge of the bible and surely the Lord hasn't revealed to him the revelation behind the woman at the wail

James Lauzon Rev James, how do you know he didn't pray prior to the video recording began? A little judgy for a Rev, wouldn't you say? Someone needs a "heart check".
My guess is the way he is characterizing the woman at the well. He is giving all of the negative characteristics (“sarcastic”, “contentious”) and none of that is in the text. It could be possible that men just use her. So the request to pray first is not to add anything to the text that is not there because that could potentially hurt non-Christians too.
What does contentious woman have to do with this? She probably left the other 5 husbands, because they didnt please her! After her the 6th husband was patiently waiting for her to come home!
a. Women weren't allowed to divorce back then only men. b. she wasn't married to the last guy just living with him. More than likely she was barren and when she couldn't produce a child with a husband they divorced her. And it's likely that by the time of the last man her father was dead so couldn't procure a husband for her so she had to go with any man that would take her.
She does not take guff from any one because she was born to a wealthy family, according to Cayce and she dressed in maid clothes so she would not be recognized.
