his name is Dan Haggis and he's a multi-instrumentalist. Check out his solo stuff he has released as Dan The Man, three solo albums with angelic vocals such as this. He and Tord also have a side project called Sunship Balloon which is more psych/dreamy alt rock. Highly recommended!

I'm so glad this song has been the latest to make a 'comeback' after Toto's Africa and Fleetwood Mac's Dreams. This was the crossover I needed. The Wombats killed it, best cover of this song since Placebo.
