The Wonder Years - Dismantling Summer (Lyric Video) 

This made me think bout my grandma that I grew up with, I teared up a lil bit. Thanks for everything grandma. I love you even though you don't hear me say it often. Thanks for always putting me under your wings.

I love this album. It kinda puts you in the shoes of back then. This video showed me how simple life was, how laid back things were. How everyone actually talked to each other, how you'd have a nice conversation with the mail man or the milk man who arrived to your door every morning early. How "small" towns seemed, where everyone knew everyone. My parents grew up in that generation, and my grandparents served as soldiers during WW2. My parents grew up in chicago, as did my grandparent, right by the railroads, this video makes me think of how simpler life was for them. How they grew up in a fast moving america when mothers worked in factories instead of all the time in the house. How the brave men and women both did their part in the war, then and now. Much that was and is needed. It really makes me feel how grateful the really brave men and women were when the war was going on.. Sorry for the paragraph. But just sharing my thoughts. God bless our veterans.

This is, without a doubt, one of my favorite Wonder Years songs. The raw emotion is amazing. Soupy and boys are great. If I could I would time capsule this moment in time.

Every single one of their songs are relatable in one way or another...somehow. it just feels like I wrote them. They all mean something to me and it all feels so real. Reality overcomes me and it shows when I catch myself singing their lyrics. I've been a fan of twy for ages, now. I'm learning about life as I go through it, twy have just been helping me through it, especially now. Leaving the torturous suburban lifestyle and starting my own life. Twy...once again,awesome job, guys.

the harmonies on this album are fucking phenominal it almost makes me wanna cry. These songs are so sonically good, how fun it is to listen to is hard to put into words

My grandmother died last year in February, and this song always hits me too hard in the feelings. I grew up with her and my uncles, since my dad worked 2 jobs and my mom was never there. (I learned very later on it wasn't her fault.) I grew up helping my grandma every day after school walk, cook and clean after herself. I was born very late, (I'm 20 and my dad is almost already in his late 60's, my grandmother turned 99 when she died.) So I was with her for a good 15 years before I left to live with my mom, and moved across the country to be more independent and school choices. I got a call from my dad saying she passed the way my uncle did, in her sleep with foam from her mouth. I didn't get to say goodbye. I knew it was inevitable but I still wish I could have told her that I love her one last time. He said she didn't want to take her pills and she knew she wanted to stop being in pain, she couldn't walk anymore and refused to stay at a hospital.

I remember when bands like Sum 41 and The Offspring and Jimmy Eat World were some of the best pop-punk bands, that's what got me into music and made me feel good. Then as you got older what was good kinda started to fade away and modern music turned to shit and you lose faith almost. And then a band like the Wonder Years releases songs like this and completely rekindles your love for this genre. This is pure gold

Another perfect summer with TWY !

I think a lot of people seem to forget that bands change no matter what. It doesn't matter whether they get big or "sell out" nobody wants to write the same songs or album over and over again. In most cases as musicians get better at their instruments, they also get better at song writing. You have to also take into consideration what inspires them to write. With new music constantly coming out they could be inspired by almost anything, and that different inspiration could alter their writing.

Dan "Soupy" Campbell is defiantly my hero. I don't aspire to be like to him but to learn and grow with him because he and all these fellow fans make me realize I'm not alone with all this depression and anxiety. We're a generation heavily afflicted by this and in no way its our fault really. We just have to rise above it, support each other, and make this a better place for all of us.

Soupys lyrics on suburbia are part of what helped me out of one of the lowest points of my life and right now i could really use another great album to help and judging by these two songs its coming.

i'm sorry but the wonder years has by far the most relatable lyrics for a poppunk band. they put time and thought into what they write and its pretty amazing

i'm not really feelinh this one yet, but i can't think of a band more deserving of all the success they earned than TWY. suburbia and upsides are masterpieces, and i'm sure this one won't let me down either.

Listening to it being leaked on you tube is way different than hearing the physical copy. I'm old school when it comes to music and still appreciate cd's and still "buy" music. So I rather wait till Tuesday.

Also, they must consider their fan base if they wanna make that cash. Bands who "sell out" simply change because their record labels are paying them and this is their job. However, I have much respect for bands like this, who stick to their roots while maturing all at the same time. I cant wait for The Greatest Generation!

"I hadn't felt a heartbreak until now"...when I finally heard it in your own words and saw the reality of you with someone else.

Ohh. The line "I haven't seen a heartbreak until now." makes a lot more sense to me, instead of him just feeling sad that something happened to his grandfather, his grandfather's heart was actually breaking.
