What I belive we are being asked to do here is something alot of people dont do and that is think for moment. I have to say he has a point. weather you agree or not. He definitely has a point here. Think about it.
This is such tu quoque. No criticism is given in this video is given on climate change or trying to remedy it. Just mudslinging. I can think of an alternative interpretation being the rich exploiting the poor, and perhaps there is something constructive there, but he didn't go into enough detail there to make it worthwhile.
Well, I understand your point but they aren't going to fix anything on a Zoom call and on any given day the sky is full of flights going all over the place. But yes the conference ultimately would likely accomplish nothing other than giving the appearance that someone is trying to do something. We've got 2-15 years till the Blue Ocean Event and it's all downhill from there. Every minute we waste makes the required changes more drastic. It's just going to go on like it is now until all hell breaks loose.
I dont understand your point. No one is saying never travel or if they travel they have to crawl there there to prove a point. Of coure heads of state are going to travel which includes secruity etc. Its like saying you should take all your gear on the bus. I NEVER understand this notion that anyone, ever, including heads of state cannot fly or moves around the world. We ALL can play a part, if we keep with "whataboutary" nothing ever gets done.
