Derek shows you 2 different M-65 Field Coats in the woodland camo fabric. Both from the mid 80's but slight differences in each. Buy either of these on my website derekdoes.com/
A woodland. My gosh, now you’re moving back into the 80’s. Good stuff. Mexico made a similar jacket in woodland as well, but it’s not as common. Love the video. Huge fan of all your interests. Keep up the great work.
Love your videos on the M65 personally there is nothing wrong with dark green or light green M65 jackets I don't know why they come out with camo , If you're looking at someone wearing dark green or light green they blend in .. from the air ... or 100 yard away ... at night you can't tell 50 yards away , I bought an Old Navy reproduction M65 jacket and that's all of Green , at Value Village for $ 24 , I'd love to have a few original M65 but I can't stand anything baggie on me so I'd have to go from large regular , if it was M 65 US Military ... to medium small .. At 6'1 , 148lbs
Thanks! I love the green ones myself as my favorite. The more sun bleached the better. You can easily do a medium. I'm 5'10 and 155 and the medium fits great. I can wear a small but it's more form fitting so maybe that would be perfect for you. I have a few smalls currently on my website you should check out.
None of the woodland camo M-65 field jackets have woodland lining it's always solid OD green. The OG-107 is nice in my opinion because it's more versatile and looks better when faded. I love woodland camo but it doesn't look good when faded.
You mention that the medium regular fits you as a 42 chest. Is that a fit without the winter liner? Do you still have room for the liner in a medium? I’m also a 42 regular but I was thinking large because I wanted to use the liner or layer with a heavy sweater or puffy jacket underneath. Thoughts?
I’d still go with the medium. Unless you like a looser fitting jacket. If you’re stuffing a puffy jacket under it then maybe go large. These are bigger than a store bought jacket to begin with. I can wear a small but it’s more fitting.
@@derekdoeschannel Sorry, but I don't know that much. It seems that there are other unnamed zipper manufacturers as well. www.mash-japan.co.jp/prd-image/91-50-2019-3.jpg
