The Word Alive was founded in 2008 by Craig Mabbitt (lead vocals) with Zack Hansen (guitar) and Tony Pizzuti (guitar) who were former members of the bands Calling of Syrens[1] and Clouds Take Shape.[2] As a side-project of Mabbitt during his part in Escape the Fate, the remaining required members he recruited to start The Word Alive were chosen to be Nick Urlacher (bass), Dusty Riach (keyboard) and Tony Aguilera (drums). there u go

He was in Blessthefall, then he created The Word Alive while he was with Escape The Fate. But The Word Alive wanted to get signed and they needed Craig, but he was too busy with Escape The Fate. So they kicked him out.

@@lastnameawesome8982 im pretty sure he didn't get kicked out of blessthefall . From what I remember he had a daughter while in BLF, and since they found success very early on he was never really around for her when she was a baby. He chose to leave a tour they were on to spend some time with her. That's when BTF went through that weird period of the bas player doing all the vocals. When he tried to come back, they had already decided to move without him. So I wouldn't say he was kicked out, because he chose to leave. Then he formed TWA, and realsed this track which was dope. I think it was obvious he had some sort of guilt about not being there for his daughter when she was a baby because guys like you, and this song are both about little girls.

@XxSlipknotBoyxX He was in BTF and TWA at the same time. TWA kicked him out because they wanted to tour with, but Craig spent so much time with BTF. He then left BTF because he had drinking problems. Now he's in ETF.

Ok here to clear the air. He was in BTF and created TWA as a side project in 2008. Then he got kicked out of BTF and he was with TWA for awhile and then joing ETF because ronnie went to jail. After being in ETF, TWA kicked him because he could never tour due to being with ETF as his first priority.

@RaarZipan Actually, he was trying out for A Skylit Drive. When he was signing his contract, he signed to ETF by accident, which they needed a vocalist also. And btw, he formed TWA while in BTF. Left BTF, tried for ASD, signed to ETF, then got kicked out of TWA

Craig was in BTF, got kicked out, Formed The Word Alive and tried out for ETF, got into ETF and had that as full time and TWA as a side project. TWA then kicked him out to be a full time band.

@Darkdarren12 That is so wrong it is fucked up. Craig was in BTF and was kicked out for drinking problems/family issues. He then formed The Word Alive while he tried out for Escape the Fate, he got into Escape the Fate and had The Word Alive as a side project so he could continue making heavy music. The Word Alive then decided they want to be a full time band and kicked him out. Hence he now has a solo project of heavier music. Don't say things you don't know about.

@AlilovesCB No, Caig was in BTF and then was in ETF and while in ETF he made a side project for a harder side of music and created TWA but because of his full schedule with ETF (touring) he couldn't tour with TWA soo they kicked him out and basically had tryouts for Tyler "telle" Smith and that's the current lead singer/ info about Craig (=

@AlilovesCB its really like this: BTF then TWA then ETF. when craig left BTF he formed with these guys and they kicked him out. He went to call and try out for A Skylit Drive at the time but accidentally called Escape the Fate, which was also in need of a vocalist because Ronnie was in prison.

He called the wrong management, and got ahold of ETFs before it was out they needed a new singer and they let him try out. He did NOT form TWA WHILE he was in BTF, he formed TWA when he joined ETF. He didnt SIGN to ETF by accident he CONTACTED them on accident, he signed with them because it worked out/

I agree. Escape The Fate try to look heavy but only achieve that in a few songs. Maybe Craig ought to remake this in Dead Rabbitts BUT keep it heavy, unlike the the AYOD remake.

@DoomedDayRS I just didn't get into detail about twa being a side project the first time because twa wasn't around until a little before he got kicked out of btf. Sure I stated it incorrectly saying he "joined" twa after getting kicked out of btf, but in my head I knew what was right. Sorry for the confusion! And man these acronyms are killing me lol

@strawsparky33 he actually got kicked out because he started drinking to much and he was more focused on his other band and they wanted to tour alot more and they couldnt because he wasnt putting much focus in the band so they kicked him
