Minecart Rapid Transit was founded in 2012, and has since grown to become the oldest Minecraft transit server. Having one of the most welcoming communities, I've found my stay here to be quite the experience.

You'll have to complete a member application if you want to build on the server, but you can still join the server to explore as a guest before doing this.
There's really too much to explore on there, and riding the entire system would likely take you well over 24 hours.

Nice to see a video on MRT. I'm BossOfGames, one of the original staff members when the server first launched, as well as the creator of a few notable projects on the Old Map, including the MRT International Airport, with the terminal inspired by Detroit's MacNamara Terminal, along with the MRT Convention Center, as well as a few smaller things here and there. In recent years, I have been unable to participate simply due to time. The staff of the server is some of the best people I have had the pleasure of working with, and it's a very welcoming community. I am glad you have had an excellent experience on the server, enough to make a video about it. If you have not done so already, I do implore you to consider become a supporter.

Oh wow, hello BossOfGames. I'll say, your name is actually still chucked around from time to time here and there, and almost all of those projects are well-known across the server still, despite the fact that we now have the New World. I'll be honest, this video was mostly made from the perspective of my first couple of months on the server. I'm actually currently serving as an administrator, and one of the current members has very kindly purchased supporter for every single player who ranks Senator and above. Seriously though, if you do get some spare time at some point soon, perhaps hop online! You'd probably be recognised instantly by some of our "old-timers" (And yes, you'd probably be considered an "old-timer" yourself!), and I'm sure some people would be very happy to say hi after all these years.
