@coasterforce thanks! Got to watch the video...that roller-coaster looks REALLY fun!!! 😁😁 and quite smooth too!! Doesn't seem to be any hick ups or bumps....where is this??
@@_Just_Another_Guy reminds me of going on Space Mountain at Disney World. Always freaked me out inside when it was dark. Always thought my head would hit a bar and be chopped completely off
As mentioned by another person, there was a deadly accident upon an indoor rollercoaster in the West Edmonton Mall, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, decades ago.
It's beyond vertical, it goes back in on itself. There are clones of this coaster all over the place, the one I rode is called Tantrum at Six Flags Darien Lake
@@Chris-xo2rq whats the difference between a 75 degree angle and a 115 degree angle. Nothing, it depend if you measured the angle clockwise or anticlockwise. U can only get as steep as 90 degrees
I feel like what would make this lift hill better would be having the brakes that hold the coaster at the top randomize how long they hold the coaster train there for each ride. Sometimes it might hold you there for three seconds, sometimes it might hold you there for 30, sometimes it might not hold you there at all.
Just got back from kings island a couple days ago, the Diamondback and Orion are the best coasters there and those are some seriously steep drops. Literally took my breath away 😂
TMNT Shell Razor at Nickelodeon Universe in New Jersey. has the steepest drop of any roller coaster. in the world with its 121.5 degree angle of descent. that's over 30 degrees beyond vertical. Shell Razor also features a 62 mile per hour launch
Whoever edited this ruined the entire point of the video by cutting to their (pointless) reaction. "Bro... nobady cares bro, nobady cahhhs" - Vince Russo
@@wellworks540i think they might be talking about the part when they stopped and you could see the track ahead of them, it looks like something spilled on it
Cut away at the best part/worst time. It's funny that this reply that EVERYONE has posted gets a response of "watch our other video!" Yeah, no. That just boosts you on the algorithm, no thanks. BTW, this might be the steepest drop NOW, but the old steepest drop was from Ultra Twister (now defunct, but I think clones are still in operation) - 90 degree vertical up, 180 degree rotation, 90 degrees straight down. Nothing else comes close.
I’m certain the Takabisha was the first of this kind at Fuji Q in Japan? It even won the Guinness World records for World’s steepest drop at one point. Maybe it’s been dethroned now, but I’m pretty sure the Takabisha was one of the catalysts for all these weird inward drops. Regardless, I think the inward decline actually slows it down and ruins the fun. Sure it’s exciting but it’s not as exciting as a roller coaster that would have a straight 90 Degree drop. Honestly, the scariest part on these coasters is being taken up entirely vertically and very slowly. At least that’s what scared me the most on the Takabisha - that vertical pull up was intense.
I'm sure this ride is technically "The World's steepest" rollercoaster. But the Kingda Ka is a complete nose dive at heights higher than the Statue of Liberty.
@@NLbruheye I've been riding roller coasters since I was a kid so I don't really feel drops anymore. But at that height, I'm sure people feel it. It's high up there.
Kinda ka is a direct ripoff of top thrill dragster, built almost identically. Dragster had the world record for tallest/fastest coaster and just having the record drew people in. 6 flags saw this and made the exact same ride slightly taller and barely faster, so they could have the record. I'm lucky enough to live by cedar point so I go every summer sometimes 2 or 3 times, and I've been to six flags. Cedar point completely shits on six flags, it's not even a competition lol if you're ever able to go i 1000% recommend it. Also, they're building an even bigger/faster version of the dragster/kingda ka currently
@@nickshinault870 The first time hearing of Cedar Point, OH, was actually in my Algebra book back in the early 2000's.They were talking about the Millennium Force ride. I'm from Jax, FL, and ever since then I have been wanting to go to the theme park. Even though Kingda Ka is a rip off from the Top Thrill Dragster, it's still a beast of a ride.
“Impulse” at Knoebels Amusement Resort in Elysburg, PA has an insanely steep drop without a stop at the top. Almost 90° vertical climb followed by an almost similar drop resulting in some of the most insane speeds.
Ride is awesome but scary shaky. I sat and watched the same piece of track right after the first launch shake for the entire 30 minutes we waited in line for the train 😮
@quicksand8869 first off, no reason to lie, so it's nice to assume, isn't it? I'm well aware of how rollercoasters work, I study them extensively, I also know steel needs to be able to flex, so it's within its limits. There have been a ton of issues with the rides here from the beginning as they were installed 6 years before they ever actually opened to the public, with what many believe was sub standard footers (hence the 'pothole effect' after the main drop). You would know the unreliability of the rides at this place if you actually did research. It's in no way life threatening, nor did I say it was. Maybe next time you can try to be less of an asshole 👍
We have a coaster here at Busch Gardens Williamsburg called The Griffin. You never know when it's gonna drop cause it changes every time. One time I rode it back to back (I had the pass to jump the line) and each time it was different, one time it was almost a immediate drop, one time it took like 3 seconds, another time 5. It's my favorite ride, I always sit in the middle of the front row, and I always hold my feet up and hands up.
the only reason i fear roller coasters is because my tummy would be very ticklish and uncomfortable, if i dont have any of those i would love riding on a roller coaster
Roller coasters are pretty boring when you don't get those feelings. When you have ridden them all day in quick succession those feelings go away and it becomes pretty boring.
Actually the angle they showed is interesting cuz you can actually see that it's so steep it almost goes insaward for a second before going full vertical
This video was so fun to watch! I really learned this experience and would like to try it out too! I hope I can experience this roller coaster some day! I hope you had a great time!!❤😊
I think my favorite things about this ride is that for some reason, the steepest drop of any roller coaster in the world is not at a Six Flags, or a Cedar Fair park. It's at a mall in Secaucus, New Jersey. Something about that is just so funny to me.
@@AaronChristianEkuaMicha-un5hgThats what i thought until i rode it. Its actually pretty scary. The adrenaline rushes through your brain. Your probably saying that cause you have never went to an amusement park LOL
he's not brave. roller coasters aren't scary. even little kids will ride stuff like maverick and steel vengeance. it doesn't take bravery, it takes common sense. there's no risk either, you're more likely to die in the drive to the park than the park itself, and by a shit ton aswell. theme park deaths or injuries are EXTREMELY rare, and theres an effectively 0% chance that anything bad will happen to you on the ride. so it just takes rational thinking and a smidget of common sense.
The saw version at thorpe park uk is a very good coaster. Pretty intense and no hold at the top, just theows you straight over against your harness lol
I hate riding a roller coaster that suddenly makes a "crack" "ting" sounds and oh.. how do I say it.. maybe "ikk" you know.., like the sound of a bus stopping (not all buses) and starting to vibrate a lot and emit lots of loud noises, and the roller coaster wouldn't stop risingpeak, it makes me nervous💀they say that my face turning red after ride it. You might think that's a normal thing when riding a roller coaster, but for me, after seeing several videos of rides in amusement parks that suddenly went wrong, I WASN'T LIKE THAT BEFORE..
They KNOW What we came here to See!, And That's EXACTLY WHY They Didn't show it. They KNOW That They're Supposed to Show The Entire Ride from Start to Finish.
I’ve been on a roller coaster similar to this, it was at the Galveston Pier. You’re looking straight up when going up the chain lift, then it stops you like this one.
I WENT ON THIS AND IT WAS REALLY FUN, it’s at "Nickelodeon Park" and it’s the ninja turtles ride! I’m pretty sure it’s in NYC but if it’s not this park sorry for the wrong information!
This must be new. Just a couple years ago Torontos Canada’s wonderland theme park. Look it up :). Introduced the new roller coaster the Yukon Striker, which has the steepest drop in the world. It doesn’t just go straight down like the parks two HUGE amazing newer coasters. They have a lot. Love those ones. feels like you are skydiving lol you go up so high that you have many huge hills and your stomach doesn’t stop falling the whole ride the Leviathan is my favourite one. But the Yukon gold actually comes back in not straight down but back in where you free fall so hard your body actually gets used to it and feels calming like flying lol.
Yukon striker was never the steepest drop or made it in the list Both of these coasters were made in 2019 I'm pretty sure Tabaska or smth was the old steepest before this coaster
There's on in King's Dominion and I was dreaded it sooo bad because it went really high. When we reached the top, it stop for a few seconds and we're facing down and I said Fuuuuuck before the sudden drop 😅
If you guys want someone to answer questions like “Oh where is this place” Well I’m about to answer those questions. This is the American Dream Mall located in New Jersey
