firstly, even if the ref had seen the ‘handball’ then the penalty could have still been missed- just because you get a pen doesn’t mean you’ll definitely score (look at the WWC final yesterday!) plus that’s not the final being rigged, just the referee not seeing a ‘foul’.
To let you know, the reason the ref didnt call it was because it didnt change the trajectory of the ball, it wouldve still gotten to Mbappe, even if he touched it or not

Just for context: the ref was 100% right with this call, upamecano hit the ball with his head even though it almost visibly hit his hand, it did not because of the angle and no Argentine players had protested the play other than montiels hand ball.
