Deltarune Kris is powerful, however they have horrible PTSD and uses the story of Deltarune to cope. Susie has to be mean for a reason, she finds it hard to let people in Ralsei is your greatest ally, but had been alone for so long.. Seam was obviously powerful in his time, but had to watch as his best friend went insane, believing the world was a game. Lancer’s only parent isn’t a good one, obviously. Chaos King’s mind is twisted enough to have the mindset he has in-game Rouxles Karrd can make his own rules, sure. But he doesn’t exactly have any friends. Literally. Not a single one. And Jevil He went insane, and thought the world was a game. He thinks he’s free when he couldn’t be more trapped, Physically and Mentally. He’s lonely. Completely alone in a world he things no other important beings live. Yet, he’s incredibly powerful. Pretty sad if you ask me.

I imagine that some times, jevil starts to feel like this when no one's around, he's just trapped, isolated, alone, he feels like he wants to be "inside" with everyone else, but he can't, to them, he's insane, but he knows things, knows things that not even the protagonists know about this world, but he can't portray it, so he's locked away, away from his former friends, away from seam, away from lancer, away from everyone.

It’s sad to remember just by listening to this song that Jevil wasn’t always insane. Something made him insane. It’s sad to remember that Seam and Jevil were friends until the insanity struck.
