I think Long Ring long land also works with this structure considering the tide is effecting the whole island. It was most likely all connected at one point in the past
That’s very true, I forgot about that, and I can definitely see it all being connected in the past, and then either everything got flooded over, or everything broke apart!
What we heard from Wano is that dragons can create clouds. Can it be a dragon that create the clouds of Skypia? But it would make sense if Joyboy did it.
Or maybe joy boy enlisted the help of each species or culture like the dragons and fishman for skypia and the Noah, and the people from wano for the ponogliphs. He was the first pirate so maybe he had one of each in his crew
