In my humble opinion, the geomumgo sounds best on its own or with a small traditional accompaniment, but I also love what this woman is doing. Few Americans have ever heard the traditional music of other far-away cultures. It's wonderful that she's sharing her music and culture with us, and teaching us a bit about it. I love the music of the Far East, particularly Chinese and Korean music. As a musician myself, I find the geomungo a really beautiful and intriguing instrument. I'd love to learn it. I've had a Chinese guzheng for years and recently I've been wanting a geomungo to start an Asian musical instrument collection! Anyways, thank you PRI for bringing us such great content!!
