Some of these bootlegs actually look really good tho. I don’t remember the exact brand but there was a Starbucks in the style of the ideas modular buildings that looked extremely detailed

I don’t know how to feel about bootleg they normally look cooler and are more unique, and often cheaper but the quality is not always there. If you want good Star Wars custom clones go check out clone army customs, they are a little pricey but worth it

The difference is lego uses high quality plastic and has to male hundreds of thousand minifigures, but the bootleg company's use cheap plastic and only make a few thousand

transformers came first because it started off as just the diaclone line ported to and optimized for the united states. go bots on the other hand was ports of machine robo which came out 2 years after diaclone. you can say that transformers came out 9 days after go bots but that doesn't mean that hasbro did anything in response, it means that the both franchises were being worked on at the same time because you can't make a show in 9 days especially with the limited tech of the 80's. his point still stands to an extent

i know these are technically better but i am really not a fan of the 360 printing, it just looks so weird the whole minifigure style was to be minimalistic plus the torsos are overdesigned. it just doesn't feel like lego to me sorry.
