Old Top Gear is as re-watchable and memorable for me as Friends is. Some of those old challenge episodes are some of my favourites and I've re-watched them so many times when the mood strikes.... they always make me laugh! I'm glad the 'India Special' cars aren't here and are hopefully still on those plinths somewhere in the mountains of India.

Last time I went was 2011 so its nice to see the older ones are still there, wondered if they had rebrand the exhibition in 2016

Good to reminisce with the stuff they've done over the years. It's been expanded it a lot since I went back in 2014! A lot of the Chris Evans era stuff I didn't recognise while watching this due to not being interested in watching top gear at that point

I think many of us turned off during the Chris Evans era although I do think the chemistry that Harris, McGuinness and Flintoff have is very childish and endearing much like the Clarkson era. Never close in terms of comparing the two but it's certainly better than what we've had since Clarkson, May and Hammond left in my opinion anyways. What do you think?

@@LiftHillsandThrills Definitely. I'm a big fan of the newest iteration, they seem to have great chemistry and although Paddy and Fred get slated for not really being 'car guys', they definitely contribute in their own way to the show. I'm definitely not one of those people who just bang on about "the good old days" of top gear, it was definitely getting old in the tooth towards the end (even the grand tour showed that recently imo). I just think it's a shame the BBC tried keeping the format more or less the same, probably why a lot of people didn't like the fact that they were trying to replace the "original" 3, rather than do something different. Harris is an excellent journalist and his passion for cars is borderline unrivalled, been a massive fan of his since the early days of his old youtube channel

@@OwainF I couldn't agree with you more buddy, wonderfully put! Their passion far outweighs their knowledge but Harris brings that knowledge and balance to the group and it works as even he keeps it playful / the chemistry shines through

All from the show, the only one that could be classed as a ‘replica’ is the Robin Reliant shuttle as it was a production back up as the first one obviously exploded 😂

As far as I know it's been there many years now Anthony so I imagine it'll be there for many years to come at Beaulieu Motor Museum. I was also told if you purchase a ticket to get into the estate you can return free of charge numerous times (not sure if they've changed it since I was last told that though)

Absolutely nothing from the Angela Rippon version of the show is on display, the exhibition dives right in with the Clarkson era onwards. Sorry for the confusion.
