All great teams, for sure. I grew up on USAF bases so I am particular to the Thunderbirds. But I gotta say, I really enjoyed what the Red Arrows were doing! Amazing show, chaps! And I gotta give it to our brothers and sisters in Blue. No one is tighter than the Blues on a good day.
*First year without... Each summer for 12 years I’ve had the absolute pleasure and enjoyment of watching the Blue Angels and the Thunderbirds perform over my home (and plenty of others) on Grand Traverse Bay. Will miss them.*
Hong Kong Phooey no way! I saw them when they came to the US and if they didn’t have colored smoke the display really wouldn’t be that interesting. They’ve got some Cooke break maneuvers, but nothing beats the power and precision on the Blue Angels. Have you ever seen the Blues in person? It’s amazing!
"Russian Knights" is the only team on heavy fighters. And they do aerobatics, which even light fighters are not able to repeat. But Americans make the show the best, yes.
@@joshsvoss In Québec City. Normaly, the US teams are not allowed to perform less than 100 miles (160 km) apart, but they had a special permission from the US Secretary of Defense. This was a special airshow for the city's 400th birthday.
@@PeriwinkleflowerAgreed. Such as a bridge to no where(Alaska), or in California, a high speed train that is not going anywhere, but money(millions)has gone in pockets.
They are all just so amazing! The Red Arrows are always entertaining, Thunderbirds are great, but nothing comes close to the Blue Angels when it comes to proximity! The Blue Angels has tight formations, they are so precise, so in sync and so close with each other it almost looks like their wings are touching!
@@jordach545 they definitely are tight I don’t think about them. But over the weekend I watched the ROKAF black eagles at RIAT and they were definitely the tightest formations.
The 2021 Blue Angel Demo Team is going to be even better than you know. Man I loved the use of flares by the Swiss, however idk if anyone knows much about this stuff but it just looked to me like the Blue Angels have the tightest formations and uniformity. Really amazing.
The blue angels, all the planes are controlled by computers.... Russian planes, it is pure human knowledge, are the pilots who do the manoeuvring without the intervention of computers! 🇷🇺🇵🇹🐻💪
I don't understand. All of the teams listed here, are showing amazing shows. How come people keep on saying Italians are the best? Why? What's that assessment about?
I think many of these teams do not get enough credit because they fly lower powered trainer aircraft or obsolete fighters from a by gone era. I give full credit to the US Airforce, Navy, and the Russians for flying fullsize fullpower combat aircraft in formation in these displays. The Blue Angels always seem to get the moniker of best in the world not for the moves, but for the fact that they famously fly with 18 inches between wingtips which is far closer and more precise than any other airshow team on the planet. The russians stun me with how they are up there in massive Flankers flying formation like that. It goes without saying ALL pilots on all of these teams are the absolute apex and pinnacle of their craft, and are the pride of their nations.

The Indian Air Force's SURYAKIRAN is both Frecce Tricolori & Red Arrows put together, go watch their performance, also to mention IAF's Helicopter display team SARANG!!!!.💯🔥
The Italians??? Are you fucking serious??? In 1988 at an Airshow in Germany, they killed 70 people and wounded 200 more because of there reckless flying practices!! This would constitute the absolute worst air demonstration team in the history of the subject!!!!!!🤔
Just got back from an airshow featuring the Snowbirds and CF-18 demo team. Had this recommended, and wish that all these countries would do a week long airshow together.
