Interviewer: "SO WHAT DID YOU FIND??" Eye tracker: "His eyes move quick - that's what happens when you practice." Interviewer: "AMAZING..." Archer: "Yup" Bruh 😂😂😂 I was expecting something more scientific than that 😂😂😂

Unconscious guy! It's a shame that the film is cut. When he shoots at the ring and the arrow hits the target, the feathers are red... when the ring is on, the white feather is already visible... Regardless, Fergison is a miracle!😘

I think they did that purely for a dramatic reveal, but if you watch the closeup shot at .25 playback speed you can see the arrow definitely goes through the ring which is pretty damn impressive

@A_GRANDDAD It's the same arrow, or: arrow in a ring is of the same colour and shape as the arrow he fired and all his arrows. Look at feathers on his back: on outher side they're red, inner sides are white. I had a parrot so I know it's typical for flying feathers of bright coloured birds.

@@tazika2988 When the arrow hits, you only see a red feather. In the close-up picture, however, you can see the white... and in the distant picture, only the red feather are visible again... You should be able to see the white from such a distance.

@@a_granddad5427 : You’re right, the shot was genuine, but the film is cut. When the narrator dude was walking towards the arrow, only pure red feathers are seen both on top of and below the arrow. When he sticks his face up close to look at the arrow with the ring, it’s got white feathers on top, and red feathers below. I’ve seen enough of Byron Ferguson’s archery to know that he’s capable of nearly superhuman feats of archery (including, for example, him literally hitting a specific falling drop of water that he was aiming at, in midair). What’s more likely here, is that the narrator pulled the arrow out of the target, and then they decided to reshoot the part where he’s looking more closely at it, so he just pushed it back into the target in some random fashion, causing this “continuity error” in the film.

@@samy7013 Not quite. The white feather is the cock vane/feather, the other two are red. The cock vane/feather goes outside, opposite the arrow rest, hence the different colour. Two reds, one white. It's the same arrow, and the film isn't cut.

Considering archers paradox where the arrow is is bending back and forth in it's flight, I don't see how it's possible to shoot an arrow through a finger ring.
@methylene5
@methylene5 8 месяцев назад
Depends on where you aim. The archers paradox is consistent and precise, so by adjusting aim for a given (short) distance, it makes no difference to the accuracy provided the archer is shooting very consistently.
@VitalyMack
@VitalyMack 6 месяцев назад
The paradox refers mostly to the arrow being placed on the side of a bow at the point of draw. Archers with trad bows will cant the bow accordingly to the desired trajectory. As far as arrow flex. This guy uses a trick bow with very light draw weight, and the trick shots are very carrifully planned. Meaning he knows exactly when the arrow is stabilized and when the arrow is at the proper ballistical trajectory.
