This just reminds me how hard I cringe when I go to a big box pet store and see tiny baby fish species for sale that get huge. There is no justifiable reason for big box stores to sell anything that can't live its life out in a ten gallon tank. I only have my medium size fish like my silver dollars and common pleco because I have a 400 gallon tank and would never buy anything that I didn't have the means to let live a full life in my care. Keep up the good work.

YES! I was in one of the box stores a year or so ago and they had tin foil barbs about the size of a quarter. There was a little sign on the tank that said "I need a 20 gallon tank to call home!" and I thought, "yeah... for the first 6 months, and then what?" It's ridiculous that this stuff is allowed to happen in the industry. I'm glad there are fish rescues to take these fish when they reach the size where the owners are overwhelmed and don't know what to do, but it shouldn't even be an issue in the first place.

Absolutely AMAZING!!! I enjoyed every second of that tour. It's always been my dream to have a big tank like that. I haven't gotten larger than a 75 gallon tank. I've always wanted to get one at least over 100 gallons. I started out with a 10 gallon tank when I was a kid and I've been hooked ever since. That collection is out of this world. I can't imagine how expensive all those tanks must be to maintain.

Have a question and do not know where to get all the information I need: The idea is to buy a school built in 1960 that has everything even a swimming pole 16 times 8 meters. depth 2 meters and shallow 60 cm. My idea is to have fish landed in it in northern Norway. But the question is can I have tropical fish species with the water that is up there. The sea is only 30 meters from the building .. Thanks to someone can give me information about this, buy the school because I want both the best water quality and to open to the public to see that there are other fish species than just Cod and other species in the ocean.
