Firstly she still has to write it out and read it or have it read, which alone is embarrassing af And of course, the damage has already been done: 18 years of pain and bullying and missing out on opportunities because employers and other people won’t take such a name seriously And of course changing your name costs money, which at such a young age and with such a long name she wouldn’t have. And of course her parents don’t want her to change it either, its embarrassing for them too. So they wouldn’t help her out.
