@@Zyrex216 , No, I am not from China but I had been there many times over the past two decades. The last time was in Hangzhou where I worked briefly for a Taiwanese company operating there. I won't say racism is totally non-existent in China, as there is bound to have almost everywhere in this world. But not much. In fact since you're a "white", you can expect a much more "favourable" response & welcome from the local Chinese people than they would normally give to other Asian or Middle East people. Above all, they would not target us foreigners for harm or to rob us. So you can feel very safe there. And I bet you will really enjoy your trip. But try not to go during summer time as it can be rather hot, especially in Hubei & Hunan provinces.
