I drive my RC cars with an aircraft controller, so yes, joystick. I'm definitely in the minority, but I am not alone either. For me, DX-6i, unmodified Mode 2 air transmitter. I use the elevator channel for throttle/brake and the rudder channel for steering.

zSyncc Yeah that's what I told him. Some of the electric guys blow $900 on a brushless setup and brag about them being faster. For $900 I'll build a nitro that makes 12 HP and will run 150+ if you got the room for it. The problem is nitro guys rarely blow that much money, so the electric guys never get to see what a car with a worked nitro engine can do.
