Recently I was researching on the life of Purushotham Choudhary Garu and after going through some books I got to know that all the songs penned by him carries a testimony. And this song was written by Purushotham Choudhary Garu in 1874 when he was filled with Joy after accepting Jesus Christ as His Personal Saviour. He penned down this song expressing thanks to Jesus Christ for saving and redeeming him from his past sinful life and with a joy filled heart he wrote this song and yes when we are saved it is truly a joyous moment; As the Word says that whole of the Heaven rejoices when a soul is saved. Thanks to Worship studio for a wonderful work on this song and I hope to see many more classics which will connect to the today's youngsters and children as I am sure that most of the christian youngsters today are not aware of the meaning of the classic Christian telugu songs and I feel the next generation will not even know these songs unless people start working on bringing back the old classics.
