my worst jp album this year is probably that new macaroni enpitsu album .i discovered them from hoshigaoyogu and have been constantly disappointed more and more new song they released .the worst thing is the album is not even that bad musically is just the vocalist sound like someone pay him to sing like ass

I feel like the analysis of yoasobi isnt the best, while a lot of their choruses have similar vfx choices, they are vastly different in arrangement, music theory and vibe. Like I don't think a song like adventure that relies on more traditional acoustic instruments and a jazzier progression can be compared to a song like idol that are more electric and have choir harmony. I also feel like this doesnt take the verses and intro into consideration as much since they very a lot during these parts.

im just trying to focus in on what i can for time, its already like 25% of the video as it is and to explain everything i would’ve needed it to be the length of the rest of the video combined no matter what instruments they’re using every song has pretty much the same vibe to me bc the songwriting/structure is so similar it all gets mushed together in my brain. and it’s worst on their new one bc the actual songs themselves are a big downgrade from their earlier stuff i go a lot more into the actual songs during the full review i did. i tried to not do like detailed song analysis in this video, again for time
