Why not use the Command spell Drop Weapon on Commander Zhalk? Lot easier than fighting him and you get the same result. The sword.

I'm nearing the end of my first playthough as sorc and I have to say that wild magic wasn't that bad. I mean it wasn't something destructive. It did made few easy fights harder then they should be, but It was't like fireball on myself over and over. Only fight that wild magic made extremly hard was hag in act 1. I was overleved for it and first spell I cast is root for whole team. Then I proc darkness, on next turn. So we can't move and we can't see... After that another proc and it's healing on magic missles. So each time I shot those it heals hag... It made that fight way harder then it had to be but still was funny. Seemed like my sorc joined the hag on that one Lol

This was indeed the worst one I’ve seen. 🎉
